It's called ESP look it up . some people have the gift and never know it till there later years some know it from birth. I have always known things it's a gift to use for finding people of knowing about a accident before it happens. Work on your skills and improve your life and others as well.
You're a good storyteller! Even though I'm not religious (no organized religion, but I do believe in God), I've had a number of close-call "guardian angel" or intuition experiences that saved my life or saved me from great injury. Usually what saved me seemed like an impossible coincidence, so it's always had me wondering if: a) a divine intelligence is watching over us, or b) our minds are much more extensive than we think, or c) there's a combination of the two. @mtfune Thanks for your comment. My guardian angel does a great job. Just recently I underwent a four hour, live threatening cancer operation and recovery. Throughout the ordeal, diagnosis to today I had not the least fear and my last test showed me as cancer free. I even know why I'm here, to provide for my family and others, as best as I can.
Funny, I had the same thing happen before not as dire as your situation but a large heavy thick glass bowl rather high on the top shelf fell on my head and I seen myself falling with it hitting me on my head, all in a flashes like a old picture movie, as I put dishes away. No sooner as I jumped back a step after reviewing what I just seen in my mind did that bowl come tumbling down and crash all over the floor.

divine intervention for sure. My grandpa was in WW11 and the lord told him to move away from a tree and he did. Then after he moved away from the tree a bomb went off right where he was standing. It pays to fear those feelings that comes upon u. Enjoyed the story. : )
I was following an artic and had a 'vision' that it jacknifed and rolled off the road. It was going so fast it was losing me in my smaller lorry.I saw it dissappear around the next bend and as I got there I drifted round the corner and started to catch it up.It ground to a halt.Red diesel was all over the road.Two cars coming the opposite way lost control,one crashed into a telegraph pole and the other went right in the back of it.Nobody was badly hurt thankfully.Premonition or insight maybe.
I think it could be your guardian spirit helping you avoid danger. I have had two experiences where I heard a male voice like a thought inside my mind warning me of danger. I payed attention and became alert and found that I had been in possible danger and saved by this voice. I think you have a guardian angel or spirit looking over you.

Physics proves that events can effect the future and the past. Some events have such a high probability, that the shadow they cast into the past is sometimes seen. Sort of the opposite of an echo. The events that have low probability cast a blurry or diffuse shadow or echo into the past, and get lost in the general noise. See what I'm getting at?

It is called intuition in my view, alot of people are not really aware that they have it, but we all do. Some people are more switched on to thier intuition particularly women, when they become aware of it they are able to tap into it instead of questioning it.
Similar Incident happened to me when i was traveling in an inter-city bus, about 9 years ago. The driver was accelerating and i could feel that the wind shield was going to shatter. I even told my brother and a friend of mine, about what i felt. And, just so strangely, the wind shield shattered after about just a few minutes i told them!. Sometimes, somethings occur to us like flashes in the brain which i feel is just a condition of over-optimization of the brain.

i had an experience when i was making a show with my friend. we were about to go down a hill on our skateboards and before i went down i had this feeling i was gonna get hit by a car or something. so i told my friend to not do it so we got off the hill. 10 seconds later, a teenage driver came flying into my neighberhood and flew up the hill. me and my friend couldve been killed that day
It sounds like maybe tuition, it's different from person to person, some see visions others have gut feelings or hunches, when a person is not distracted they're more aware of what's around them and able to react more quicker.
i had a similar experience, i was on interstate 81 in va this guy apparently fell asleep behind the wheel i heard on the news later, got hit by an 18 wheeler spun over the median and got clipped by another 18 wheeler and spun around right into the middle of the interstate right in front of me if i hadn't of slammed on my brakes and swerved off the road i would of hit him anyhow this guy actually survived and it was an amazing experience
I think I might be Clairvoyant. Lately I've been noticing that When I think about things, they happen later in the day or the next day. It's like it's too coincidental to be a coincidence if that makes any sense. Do you know if this is Clairvoyance, or something else?
Yes it is. You have have power. It can get quite exhausting, so try ignoring it most of the time. When something Really important crops up, that can have an impact on someone, do your thing.

the same thing happened to me a year ago (except it wasn't with a ladder), and the funny thing is that i was in the car, on the interstate , too. Still can't explain it.

Thanks, I've heard that sometimes, at times of danger, there is a "second person" occurrence, where some people actually feel that another person is present and is directing them. Mine was almost that strong, it was as if someone said "watch out, get out of harm's way"
In all reality it could have been the fact that you saw the ladder, and in that instant you thought about all the things that could have happened with that ladder, Things influence the way we think throughout life, I.E. "Final Destination" That movie does make people think on a whim about what could possibly happen, your mind could have had such a random spark that it felt so strong that you felt the need to get over or something was wrong. the ladder simply looked out of place. take care! :)

Good instinct for one; and if you had filmed the incident, we could probably pinpoint what sparked your excellent hunch. A bit like some racecar drivers can sense their leading opponent will crash a few turns before it happens.

I guess your story is the same as with Deja Vu, seeing future memories, seconds, minutes, even years away. Somebody else said it was divine intervention, or it wasn't your time.
But what about the Jews in WW2? Millions of young men, women and children killed, literally tortured. Where was God then? Why didn't he do something? If he's powerless to help, than why do we worship someone who cannot help the helpless?
Your question is obviously meant as a challenge to the omniscience of God and why He will not inetrvene for good. God was then, just like 9/11, set firmly upon his throne in heaven aware of the history he set forth unfold. Remember that the jewish people, for the trangression of denying Jesus Christ as Messiah, were lead into diasporia and the city of jeruselam (temple also) detroyed. Scattered abroad for HIS namesake, the events of WWII were apart of this prophecy upon the jews.
Better to say the The Lord is allowing his great plan of salvation to unfold as he planned it to. When you would plan a trip, you map out the route, you can see that on that route you would encounter certain things and that you can expect certain things to happen because of where you are going. That is not "letting" something happen, that's what is expect to happen along the way.
Watching this video sent chills up my spine; this thing happens to me too. I get images, descriptive, of many things seconds before they happen. I've learned to act on them. I can't say they are divine intervention because I don't believe my life is worth more than any other person's life, so why intervene for me when so many others die? I've just decided that somehow we're all connected. Everything is connected, past, present, and future, and sometimes we can cross those "barriers."

you just had an ESP:extra-sensory perception...you had a type of ESP called precognition..wich means to see events in your life before they even happen..this has happned to me also

Oh, no doubt this has been studied to death, the problem is that this so-called "science" has arbitrarily assumed that the source of all of these precognitions are from the human mind- which has never been proven- actually, they origionate from a source which "science" can never study......spirit.
I myself had something like this happen. Driving home from the city at about 2am down a 4 lane divided highway (2 lanes oncoming separated by a large ditch then the lanes i was in) I was in the left lane. After driving for 30 min or so something clicked in my head and said "get in the right lane" There was NOBODY around except a few oncoming cars. 10-15 second after switching lanes a car passed me going the WRONG way on the highway It was a very odd premonition.

i just think it was common sense which made you think of that particular vision, as humans we tend to fear the worst when put in a situation that could go wrong. if i was driving behind a truck that had an unattatched object hanging over the back i would try to keep my distance, in an ideal world you could say that there was some higher power letting you know that it wasnt your time yet, but i stand by my origional answer :-)
well maybe it is what you believe that saved you, what i mean is that you obviously believe that some all powerfull being is watching over us, it could be that strong belief that somehow made you think you were in danger, because ultimately that is what religion is all about, giving reason to an otherwise unreasonable world
This is a premonition!.......You really did see that video in your head....It wasn't your time to go! Your wife is half right. Divine intervention is amazing and your wife was right to a certain degree...but YOU saved your own life with the power of this premonition.....she should investigate your own abilities of being a psychic...you have the gift!
That's a great example of what some people call intuition. Similar things have happened to me, but never so sharply. So I did some scientific research and there's no scientific reason that our minds are limited to the three dimensional world around us, furthermore, time is explained in unification theory as connected in many different ways other than progressively forwards. My theory is that you gained access to some of these other connections or other dimensions when you needed it most.
It happens to everybody, every day. Most of us are too busy to listen. It sounds like you would've been severely injured or killed, and the event had an emotional "spike" attached to it. It's like a tower on the horizon. The closer you get, the more apparent it becomes. Except as we "drive" along, some of us are looking at a map, but some of us are watching the "road". Keep "driving" and watching the "road", and soon you will see not only the "towers", but also the "pebbles" on the road.

i had an experience when i was making a show with my friend. we were about to go down a hill on our skateboards and before i went down i had this feeling i was gonna get hit by a car or something. so i told my friend to not do it so we got off the hill. 10 seconds later, a teenage driver came flying into my neighberhood and flew up the hill. me and my friend couldve been killed that day

It sounds like maybe tuition, it's different from person to person, some see visions others have gut feelings or hunches, when a person is not distracted they're more aware of what's around them and able to react more quicker.

i had a similar experience, i was on interstate 81 in va this guy apparently fell asleep behind the wheel i heard on the news later, got hit by an 18 wheeler spun over the median and got clipped by another 18 wheeler and spun around right into the middle of the interstate right in front of me if i hadn't of slammed on my brakes and swerved off the road i would of hit him anyhow this guy actually survived and it was an amazing experience

You can't turn it on and off at will. It just happens.
Happens to me on a weekly / monthly basis.
At this point it's a burden because sometimes it involves warning people who don't want to listen.
And saying "I told you so" would be rude.
There's a bit of personal agony in the aftermath.
I keep asking myself if they would have listened if I was Good-looking.
Then I keep asking myself why this power was seemingly wasted on a Plain - looking soul such as me.

Thanks, I've heard that sometimes, at times of danger, there is a "second person" occurrence, where some people actually feel that another person is present and is directing them. Mine was almost that strong, it was as if someone said "watch out, get out of harm's way"

In all reality it could have been the fact that you saw the ladder, and in that instant you thought about all the things that could have happened with that ladder, Things influence the way we think throughout life, I.E. "Final Destination" That movie does make people think on a whim about what could possibly happen, your mind could have had such a random spark that it felt so strong that you felt the need to get over or something was wrong. the ladder simply looked out of place. take care! :)

I guess your story is the same as with Deja Vu, seeing future memories, seconds, minutes, even years away. Somebody else said it was divine intervention, or it wasn't your time.
But what about the Jews in WW2? Millions of young men, women and children killed, literally tortured. Where was God then? Why didn't he do something? If he's powerless to help, than why do we worship someone who cannot help the helpless?

Your question is obviously meant as a challenge to the omniscience of God and why He will not inetrvene for good. God was then, just like 9/11, set firmly upon his throne in heaven aware of the history he set forth unfold. Remember that the jewish people, for the trangression of denying Jesus Christ as Messiah, were lead into diasporia and the city of jeruselam (temple also) detroyed. Better to say the The Lord is allowing his great plan of salvation to unfold as he planned it to. When you would plan a trip, you map out the route, you can see that on that route you would encounter certain things and that you can expect certain things to happen because of where you are going. That is not "letting" something happen, that's what is expect to happen along the way.

Watching this video sent chills up my spine; this thing happens to me too. I get images, descriptive, of many things seconds before they happen. I've learned to act on them. I can't say they are divine intervention because I don't believe my life is worth more than any other person's life, so why intervene for me when so many others die? I've just decided that somehow we're all connected. Everything is connected, past, present, and future, and sometimes we can cross those "barriers."

I myself had something like this happen. Driving home from the city at about 2am down a 4 lane divided highway (2 lanes oncoming separated by a large ditch then the lanes i was in) I was in the left lane. After driving for 30 min or so something clicked in my head and said "get in the right lane" There was NOBODY around except a few oncoming cars. 10-15 second after switching lanes a car passed me going the WRONG way on the highway It was a very odd premonition.

i just think it was common sense which made you think of that particular vision, as humans we tend to fear the worst when put in a situation that could go wrong. if i was driving behind a truck that had an unattatched object hanging over the back i would try to keep my distance, in an ideal world you could say that there was some higher power letting you know that it wasnt your time yet, but i stand by my origional answer :-)

That's a great example of what some people call intuition. Similar things have happened to me, but never so sharply. So I did some scientific research and there's no scientific reason that our minds are limited to the three dimensional world around us, furthermore, time is explained in unification theory as connected in many different ways other than progressively forwards. My theory is that you gained access to some of these other connections or other dimensions when you needed it most.

It happens to everybody, every day. Most of us are too busy to listen. It sounds like you would've been severely injured or killed, and the event had an emotional "spike" attached to it. It's like a tower on the horizon. The closer you get, the more apparent it becomes. Except as we "drive" along, some of us are looking at a map, but some of us are watching the "road". Keep "driving" and watching the "road", and soon you will see not only the "towers", but also the "pebbles" on the road.

I had a simialar story,bout a driver, somthing told me he was trouble, I got off the freeway, stop to eat, when I got back on to finish the trip, that driver had wrecked and several cars were piled up...I think it was a fatality... but wow, glad you listened to your inner self and returned home safe, a birthday gift indeed..

Thank your unconscious calculator keeping you alive - calculating motion, velocities and probabilities according to your experiences. Had you done the same thing and the ladder had NOT come off, no-one would be the wiser. I ride a fast motorcycle, and have to let my unconscious, which thinks a lot faster than my conscious make decisions for me, I don't even see the movie in my head anymore, I just act. Sometimes they pan out and save my life, sometimes they aren't necessary.

I think it is some of your natural psychic abilities. Every human being has some extent of psychic ability. Some people have a stronger ability than others. In some instances, however, the ability can come forth very strongly when the divine beings deem it necessary. You are here for a greater purpose, that is obvious. :)
I have prophetic dreams regularly, though the amount of the future I am allowed to see is only a few minutes to a bare minimum of about 5 seconds. Your abilities are useful.
