haha someday i'd like to pull my western star. i was driving by save-a-lot and saw you pulling out, i thought about callin on the cb to see if you were pullin, but figured it was where you were headed. im curious as to what tranny you have and what gear you start out in? thanks for a good show
I have an 18speed eaton, depending on the track usually 3high,,it really depends on the track and the boat, thats why I don't like to pull first, so I can watch how the track & boat are.
I have 46 full locking rears, 390 ratio.
So what are you hauling? Are you from the Bath area?
yeah im from the bath area, just north of there actually. the truck is off the road right now, i need to get my license. we used to use it to pull a lowboy hauling equipment, our TD-20 dozer, a loader, and a couple other things. i dont have any videos of it but i do have a few pictures.
Thank You for posting my pull, you can view more of my pulls, with more comming, under ditersl or dieter trucking. Bath's full pull was 275ft, most places are 300, they shut me down at 276ft. I wasnt happy with that but they wouldnt let me go any more. Short Track, they didnt trust that I could have taken it around the corner! lol..The next night I pulled Walton, and that flag man about gave himself a stroke! You have to watch the video.
