  • Penicillin, Selenium and Vitamin E the latter two because of local nutrient deficiency in the soil. The former is given by some as standard but omitted by others.

  • what kind of shots are you giving them?

  • This is a method of draining the mucus from the airway.

  • why is he swinging the little sheeps?

  • you speak of this 'white muscle disease' should i inject my lambs when thier born ?

  • We use a free choice gradulated sheep mineral that contains all the vitamins and minerals that sheep require. We live in delta area with very rich soil and our sheep still use quite a bit of the mineral. So I can see where if you have deficient soil how that could be a problem. Thank you for the information.

  • You go girl! Awesome video!!

  • Why were you swinging the baby?

  • @bbdoll316 the lamb was breach, not breathing and her airways were blocked with mucus. This is a standard procedure of reviving newborn mammals small enough to swing safely.

  • I would like to know what type of Medicine was in the Injection the Lambs were given

  • @KuehneJ What breed of sheep is shown in your video? they are marked beautifully. We have over the last couple of years started raising a Hampshire/Suffolk cross or Club Lamb and are really enjoying raising and showing. My son is now looking to show a few pure bred sheep....so just wondering what your's are. Thanks for the response about the medicine you were giving at birth. Is the Nutrient Deficiency common in that breed?

  • @MsMarcie123 They are Zwartbles originally from the Netherlands. The deficiency is a problem of the local soil conditions and has nothing to do with the breed. The deficiency can lead to 'white muscle disease' and you either inject the ewes once a year or the lambs at birth (cheaper!)

  • Good Markings on them!!

  • @angus4641 yes I do.

  • @angus4641 Thank you

  • are you using a macbook??
