  • I want to marry everyone in this video.

  • I love the dancing.

  • sratatata...

  • Хор голодных из оперы "Отдай мою горбушку"

  • Great writing, fun performance. One of my favs.

  • ...and the Russians can't carry a tune...

  • And who invented the horrible language of C++ hahahaha

    good stuff!:D

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......................

  • УГ чуть менее чем полностью. И девицы страшные. Блин, в бирмингемском хоре и то симпатичнее - позор какой-то.

  • :):):):):):):):):):):)

  • I loved this. I've lost count of how many time's I've seen it. I even sent the link to my dad, who almost spewed his drink all over the computer at times.

  • well, he must have been expecting after watching it the first time.

  • Awesome singing!

    By the way:

Very beautiful blonde hair girl... what is her name?

  • perhaps Natasha :))))

  • Loved your song

Mosquitos? perhaps a bit of insecticide,

surprised by the tempo change with the stomping. Liked seeing people watching from their windows.

  • I am so at least "double" happy to enjoy listening to this great song - why? you could ask. OK: This is why: I play the accordion, I am Polish and I speak Russian. And this is what I want to tell you: St. Petersburg people - I love you as much as all the people of the world! Thank you very much! :)

  • I like it, too. But i don't speak at all russian. still i think it is great.

but did u know that there is also a polish choir now online? if not on youtube, then on the official site.

  • Another delightful collection of complaints. Where did this all start?

How can they possibly sing in a ferrin' language?

  • one of my favourites from the complaint choirs' series, beside budapest and helsinki. keep it on!! :-)

  • Супер!

    Молодца ребята!

  • BRAVO!!!!

I've been recently in St. Petersbourg and I agree 100% with you... and I would have more choirwomen like yours in my Choir too. Kisses from Italy.

  • great video...!

  • the women really don't like men, do they? lol

  • OUTSTANDING! BRAVO!

    ~Cindy! :)

    ..

  • одним словом:

    НЕ ОСИЛИЛИ

  • It's beautiful, but for me Helsinki's choir complaints is the way better, and Helsinkis choir has witty humor. Besides, I mean something wrong with recording quality. But it is neverless wondeful, and the choir's collective looks like very passionate. Good job.

    francois

  • Charming and so nicely done. I am happy to hear and see those people. You Tube: "eskoeerola"

  • the guy wit black hair in 0:32 and more is everywhere...in helsingförs in birmingham everywhere..

  • wonderful .....small world .. common views...a celebration of humanity.

  • WHAT is the C++ Language?!??! I saw it in my school courses booklet and I don't get it!

  • It's a computer programing "language"

  • its a programming language. I had to do it when I Was in highschool. It was a pain in the ass. But JAva is worse because of how shitty it actually works... but everyone is using java these days.,

  • @EmmieB91

its a type of programing language and its base is a form of visual basics language. mostly used for programs on windows.

  • second time listening, I think your choir is better than the Rolling Stones already, but maybe they'll come if invited! and love the accordion.

  • What a lovely presentation.

  • look at the horrid communist era buildings behind them.

  • Wonderful! Where there is life , there is hope. This shows Russia at it\s wonderful, humane best and not the growly bear the ghastly politicians would have it. More, please!

  • Probably the nicest video I have ever seen on youtube: soooo sweet...and true!

  • Welcome!

  • I like that, it made me tear. But they missed one thing,, And this is my only real complaint,,"IM LONELY!"

  • Beautiful choir, i very like the Russian language. Greetings from Germany

  • Loved this video and the idea of complaining in music!

  • Not to boast, but after almost 2 years, I can hold an intelligent conversation, understand most of what I hear, laugh at jokes, and read novels. I think it all depends on how much you put into it, and if you can converse constantly every day with PEOPLE.

  • I love the mega-polite introduction. :)

  • Check out the Asian kids in the video- whodaa thunk there'd be Asians so far north and west?

  • Russian language <3333333333333333333333333333333

  • russian really sounds like european portuguese! :)

  • i am russian, but i dont see how you can mix europe and portuguese together lol

  • It is so nice. So much style!

  • this caught me by surprise . I study in Russia but i still haven't been able to master the language so far although i really like it .

  • to master a language you need three years of full exposure like new borns do ,the best method is try to avoid listening to any other language the time you are learning one and best when go to sleep leave the radio on (a free lesson while you sleep !).

  • The russian langague sounds for me (from Barcelona/Spain) vety beautiful. I learnt the alfabet very well and so I could be three times in St. Petersburg and enjoy very much. I was very proud when I understood coffe, Blinis or Pizza Margarita, the names of the shops, of the streets or the Metro Stations...The russian letters are fantastic! They look like peaces of art.

  • ты прав(а)! Русский -это самый красивый язык на Мире. Петербург самый прекрасный город, не понимаю, почему назвают эго -северный Венис. Много раз красивее чем он.

  • не согласен. г Прага в Чехии красивее.

  • the russian letters are pieces of art and they are not just russian letters, russians just use them. The letters are Cyrilic, the two macedonian brothers made a reform of the old glagoloic alphabet to translate the bible

  • I do not see anything racist in this song. Nice, kind and real. Very very nice! St. Petersburg has always many surprises...

  • That was astounding. I'd like a copy of the lyrics, if anyone in it sees this. I doubt you will. It was unbelievable. I love you guys and I am moving to St. Petersburg tomorrow. Just kidding. Actually, I don't know what to think because your song was very persuasive. But MANNNNN! Excellent!

  • That's really awesome! I'm from Saint Petersburg, and I feel like it was me complaining about all that things. :)

BTW, I live in Helsinki now, so, I could agree with Helsinki Complaints Choir, too. :)

  • I find songs in a language other than English fascinating. It is quite the norm for those who speak english to assume that their language is the best and their language is the one everyone speech but this couldn't be farther from the truth. and in fact English is just a culmination of words pinched form other languages which is why many german words are similar to english words. I will continue to love foreign music and the owrld section on iTunes will forever remain my favourite

  • Those are the same complaints of common people around the world. Let us be part of it.

  • no more money for acne cream boy can i relate!

never make the first step ( true, true)

    the rapping bit was unexpected

  • vampiiritar's comment reminds me of the title of Dilbert Book, "When did Ignorance become a Point of View?"

The dancing part is moving and the opposition between the male and female choirs is well done.

  • I firmly agree with you. I really felt sorry for him calling all unfamiliar languages "ugly". Language is always tied up to the culture where it was formed, hence, an indirect assault to those cultures. Vampiiritar's discordant opinion is a hallmark of a man with a very severely close mind.

  • Vampiiritar is estonian nacist, estonians hates russians and it's quite known thing!!

  • cool!

  • Starts slow but hang in there. They get going. What a great process....collecting complaints and singing them. I bet everyone felt much better -especially about the things we can't do anything about!

  • Really beautiful song, smart lyrics and beautiful ladies..! ;)

  • самодеятельный хор,но прикольно

  • I have to say that the Russian Choir's song is the best sofar - wonderfully melodic, and the accordion kicks all kinds of ass. Love the way huge, philosophical questions were woven in with all kinds of petty stuff. And this group was the most animated, by far.

  • Nice... is that a priest?

  • Awesome! In Russian lyrics are so much funnier! Great job, guys.

  • there should be one of these for every city in the world!

  • Absolutely loved it. All of the complaints choir videos to date are brilliant, but the Helsinki school children are at the top of the list of my faves.

  • its tooo choiry and in tune compared to the others

  • I think it was great. Good job!

  • They sucked.

Helsinki's complaints choir was a lot better.

And gee, russian is just sooooo ugly language.

  • English isn't that pretty either, just so you know. Especially when you can't understand it. Russian is quite nice.

  • English is a very beautiful language. At least it makes some sense.

Russian.. has no logic in it.

I should know. my home language is Estonian. I've learned English for 12 years. Russian for 5 years. French for 4 years.

going on 1 year of German.

and not to mention i understand Finnish.

I have a 6th sense in languages. I'm very good at them.

But Russian.. just dones't make any sense.

  • I'm pretty good at languages myself. I'm fluent in English.. Russian is my native. I'm fluent in French, pretty good in Italian, had a year of German and a year of Latin. And I was replying to the person who said that Russian was ugly. Obviously, that person doesn't know a word of Russian. And just judging by the way a language sounds... I'd argue that Russian doesn't even come close to languages of Germanic origin.

  • I just can't stand the sound of Russian.

    I just can't.

I leave others the joy to love and like what they want to.

But i can't stand the Slavic languages. not the mention Chinese, Japan or others like that. i just don't like them, i don't like their sound, i don't like their grammatics.

    For me, they are ugly.

  • Well, you may like whatever you want, but don't call languages ugly. I also think that Chinese, Japanese, etc. sound strange to my ear, and so does Estonian, but I don't call them ugly, as I woudn't want to offend those who speak and like them.

  • If someome feels offended by my words, it is none of my business.

It is MY opinion.. and if someone cannot handle it, he or she shouldn't go out of home at all - someomes opinion might hurt them.

    Aint it a bitch?

  • how mature indeed

  • Sorry, couldn't care less.

I have right to my opinion. Don't like it? Don't read it.

  • u can put your opinion to your recta...

  • It's interesting how while some of the complaints are similar woes of urban life, some are more unique to each country's national chr.The British was more concerned with buses, timetables, small woes of modernity;the Russian one includes more Big Picture ideas of love & meaning.Good job, guys, interesting, funny stuff.

  • Congrats

  • I like the way they bounce about. it's ironic. LOL!

  • Hah! I enjoyed this one.

  • 5/5 !

  • I think I'll pour myself some vodka, play this again... and raise a glass to all my fellow complainers! CHEERS!!!
