Whitehurst will be a solid QB in my opinion. And Rivers is a top 4 QB in the NFL. The guy can play. And fuck Jake Locker...Andrew Luck will be a franchise QB. I would much rather have Luck over Locker. GO HAWKS!

This is another one of those sorry ass, Charlie-Frye-type quarterbacks, someone will warm the bench then comes in and throw like 4-5 ints, 103yds with 18 completions a game and then gets bench. Why the hell did the Seahawks invest in this guy?

@BigPlayParlay funny, weren't people saying similar things about hasselbeck when he was traded to the seahawks?? or even when the packers traded a 1st round pick for brett favre, who was 3rd string on the falcons at the time? sure, whitehurst could be a bust, but the guy was a 3rd round pick 3 or 4 years ago that has gotten great coaching in san diego from norv turner, and obviously the seahawks saw something in him that we haven't yet.. so have some faith, for all know he could surprise you

I think based on what they paid for him the Seahawks may trade Hasselbeck away and start Charlie. i think he felt he had to compete and win at arizona but he was promised the starting postion in Seattle. Seattle will get a high round 2nd for Hasselbeck and some sort of a pick for next year too.
