i like this setup, i run 8 12's sealed in a wall and i didnt do it for numbers but for that sound quality you get from sealed, but none the less im still proud of the 152.6 db number it puts up, so for all those that say sealed isnt loud can kiss my ass...but nice setup bro
Now, since you're only running 2 amps, how are you doing your wiring? 6 subs and amp, are you runnin each sub at 8 ohms to bring a grand total of like 1.5 ohms an amp?
@CuddaKine Not always the case. The undefeated loudest street beater on earth has a sealed enclosure. Now, in some cases you are correct. I could have done 8 12's ported and been louder than the 12, but that all depends on vehicle, enclosure, woofers, power. Not just any 4 12's would be louder than this. It still broke a 150 on the termlab.
@BigDaveIA you need more power, and run ports , are they individually chambered? if so port them dude your shit will bump harder! trust me. instead of 4000, it should at least be 10 to 20,000 watts dude

You are missing the point transmision lines and folded horns would never fit. What you could fit would never match the output of his design. Sealed boxes dont have standing waves and dont have the problems those designs have. My only point is designing a system to not sound musical and sound BAD just to get a louder DB on a meter makes no sense to me. It goes against every bone in my audio body. If you think your so smart by tossing around basic sub designs go re read Tom Danley white papers

@mm34rider I gotcha. 8 of these woofers ported are louder than the 12. I did it this way because I wanted 12 12's and didnt have the space for ported. The enclosure is actually small for the woofers sealed, so ported was not an option. But 8 ported is louder, noticeably.
this is where i find the largest flaw in the design of a system. people get stuck on the idea of the build because it would look cool. there is no law against that so it's still all good. but i find it more impressive to achieve massive output with a lesser number of woofers. i give demo's all the time and i wish i had a good video. i have 2 12's on 600 watts and i have people guess 2 15's with 1500+ watts all the time and they flip shit when they find out what it really is lol. enclosures ;)

They are dual 4 ohm subs but actually read around 3 ohms. The amps are seeing 0.9 ohms. The camera is a Pure Digital Flip video.
