A more modern version of this cartoon would include having to wear helmets, pads, gloves, mouthpieces, and other protective equipment when playing more physical activities such as football, hockey, skateboarding, dirtbiking, etc.

A song verse would probably go:

Wow...Do I remember this! When I was in the 3rd grade in the 60's during school Assembly Day...White Blouses, White Shirts, Dark Skirts, Dark Pants. The Pledge of Allegence and "I'm No Fool" with JIminy Cricket. And Public Service TV Commercial Jingles...Like: "Don't Cross the Street in the Middle of the Block".
