As one of the riders in this video,-- first time LA-to-DC 2010, all I can say is THANK YOU to those who came out on all those bridges, off ramps, Legion/ VFW halls, VA hospitals, and everywhere else across this country. I still get choked up when I think about the American spirit I saw during those 10 days between Ontario and DC.
It was 7,500 miles from & back to Fresno, which I will gladly do again in 2011, and recommend to anyone else who wants to see what this country is still made of.
@Garyscott7 Thank you, Gary! I made this video in hopes that you riders would get to see it and "meet" some of the people who came out in support of you and your ride. Many, many Americans were honored to take a few moments to show our support for what all you veterans have done for this country. God bless you and thank you for commenting.
This really moved me I recently lost my father Juan C. Naputi who was a Vietnam vet. He just started riding a Harley and would have loved this tribute. Thank you it was beautiful! Pam Naputi Wix
@izlandgrl770 Pam, thank you for taking time to comment. I, too, wish your father had been able to see it. My father was a veteran of the Korean War and I miss him. I am sorry for your loss and I pray that time will help heal your sadness and you are left with only happy memories of your father.
being a vietnam veteran I want to thank those people for what that run to the WALL it means a lot to us vet's I have been to the Wall many time's since it been there. The men and women that have their name on look down from haven and say thank's
@alfazeba I am sorry that the gratitude of this nation has come so late to you vets the Vietnam War, but I am glad people are now acknowledging your sacrifice. It was my honor to have the opportunity to produce this small tribute and I can never thank you enough for taking the time to comment. God bless you and thank you.
@alfazeba, I to am a Vietnam Veteran and we have alot to be thankful for. Served in U-Tapao Thialand as a Asst. Crew Chief on B-52's Bombers. God Bless you, @alfazeba !!!!! And also thank all the people for their support. "FREEDOM ISN'T FREE"

2010 was the fifth time I've made the Run and I am humbled every time I do. Folks like you honor us just by coming out to wish us a safe journey. You have no idea what a simple, "Thank you" means to a Viet Nam vet. So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank YOU for supporting US, our POWs and MIAs.
@ecadee God bless you, Flyboy. Can't tell you how much it means to hear that and I thank you for taking the time to let me know. I am forever grateful to men and women like you.
I had the honor to make the ride all the way from LA to DC again in 2010. I greatly appreciate the time, effort, and support that went into this video, but more importantly I thank all those that came out to show their support for us and their patriotism for the greatest country in the world.

@AdStarProductions I'm a Nam Vet. Although I did not go to Nam, my job stateside was in support of our troops over there. I also lost many friends and appreciate what you have done by posting this video. God Bless all.
@bsps98 Thank you for taking time to comment. Although I turned 18 the year after the last draft, and did not serve, I, too, lost some friends in Viet Nam. I can't tell you how much it means to me that you took the time to write and tell me your feelings on this video. I did it for you... and them. Hearing from vets, families and friends is the best part of my day. Thank you for your service. Thank you for my freedom.
What a great video! I did the run in 2009 and it was so heartwarming to see the flags and well wishers on bridges across this great country. I spent that morning in Rancho Cucamonga sending off my dearly loved Vietnam Vet "Rock" as he made his 3rd trip to the wall with his other brothers. Thank you all for taking time out of your day to show your respect and support and thanks for posting this wonderful video...
@melpavese Melody, it was, and continues to be, my honor. My original intention was so the people who rode might be able to "meet" some of the people who came out to support them. It means very much to me that you took the time to comment. Thank you!
So moving - really great. I am the daughter of a disabled American Vet. Thank you for honoring and supporting those who ride to honor my father and all the other brave vets.
@MrBKBiker Thank you,. BK. I was hoping that I could give the riders a chance to meet some of the people who come out to wave their support. My best wishes to you on your trip to D.C. And I thank you for my freedom.
