jamie and adam actually built one of these on mythbusters.

The myth was busted, they said it was fake. They said to fly that distance: Busted

But they found it was extremely accurate, for Jamie and adam built a super big slide 167 ft at a 24 degree angle. They flew 70 feet, but adam landed at the target spot.. The people that made this video contacted Jamie and adam and said it was fake, they used CGI.

okay after looking closely at the video this is not fake yes you saw a crash test dummy but if you keep your eyes open for when the guy comes off the ramp you can still see that the crash test dummy is still in that spot where they left it. so nows theres a higher percentage that this is actually real

@bonyfingers13 It's a crash test dummy. Assuming this is real and not video magic, they probably used the crash test dummy to ensure the calculations for the ramp and distance to the pool were correct.

Laws of physics says you're a tool. It's on a hill and the perspective from the angle it's being shot on the downhill slope makes it appear that the ramp has a greater incline than there actually is. Your just assuming that it wouldn't send him 300 feet through the air. What calculations did you do to come up with that. Did you consider wind speed, coefficent of friction with slide and air, weight of the person, acceleration of person down that angle of slide, distance that weight and friction coefficent could send person off of the slide. They would have checked all that, did you.
