those goddamned "christian"republicans led this country down the wrong path for the last 14 yrs.
the fact they can't own up to what this country & the world knows for fact is further confirmation those bastards should be kept from power until they reorganize & realize the national (except for stupid southern bubbas) & international population is sick of their bullshit.
my question is why can't they understand something as simple as that!
this is not a partisan statement, damn it, it's fact.
yeah hereticbooks, who the hell knows if they kept us safe!
based on their continuous lies during 8 yrs of their rule (and yes i mean rule. bush himself said, paraphrasing, if this were a dictatorship it would be easier, as long as i'm the dictator) they lied for political reasons, more specifically to get re-elected. let's see how much they really kept us safe!
it was only assuredly pure luck.
i don't believe their bull any more than i believe bush when he said this country doesn't torture.
LOL! listen to phil stutter at 0:38. What's with those neo cons and stuttering?..........o0 During their Bush administration they were running their big mouths on the world via the media big time. Now they stutter like freaking idiots. I find their lack of faith disturbing.

ho would Jesus water-board? When cutting genitals, would Jesus use an exactor knife or a razor blade?
We call our selves a "Christian" nation, that's why Yoo gave Bush the right to molest and crush a child's genitals (in front of their parents). Read the memo. A Canadian, and a Brit are now suing us for using the knife on their genitals (they were innocent people).
I wonder when the voices of the dead children will speak, I'm sure there were some, bc Bush used every other power Yoo gave
I do not want to know what Bush did to these poor people. They are not all the enemy. It is sad to think that the world thinks we all behave this way. We can never pay these people back for their losses. I hope someday we can do something.
Can pay them back but one totally innocent Canadian dude is suing us for 10 million. We were also keeping a 13 year-old Canadian (his dad was Taliban - I think - but his mom was not, his dad basically kidnapped him). Wait till the bodies show up.
Let me focus my argument then. I agree with you that the United States is probably the worst of the industrialized countries when it comes to prosecuting those in power. I also agree that recent policies have had a flair of lemon socialism. What I don't agree with is that there is any reason to believe that Obama doesn't want investigations to happen. I gave you my reasons for thinking so on the other video. Why do you think Obama's SHIFTING the blame on to the lawyers? It's always been there.
Obama last week had one of his talking heads say he wasn't going to prosecute; & in his own words, "..nothing will be gained by spending out time & energy laying blame for the past"
However, with more revelations & public dissent, he had to back-peddle
If he wanted to make right, he would prosecute from the TOP down - Blaming only the lawyers allows compartmentalization of the issue away from top & room for legal wrangling to dump the issue
As I said before, according to Mussolini, today's America is a fascist government
Max Kaiser made a good case for this last week - Pick it up on YouTube video
Personally, I feel you could call America a lot of things, (eg a Plutocracy since 98% of its Congress is made up of Incumbents); but you could never call it a Democratic Republic
The last good battle over control of the FED took place around 1934 when the Corps & Bankers fought it out, (Gen Butler)

Typical liberal ploy; ask an inane question and when the GOPer doesn't give the answer the lib wants, beat up on the GOPer for answering truthfully or, in this case, not answering a question based on a false pretense.
I can do it too!!!
Hey, Mr. O'Donnell, did you beat your wife this morning or did you stop doing that?
Dude didn't say that he knew anyone was guilty of anything, except that they proved their desire to destroy us. If you'd been there, you would've seen it too.
History & Science prove the only legitimate information does not come from torture; In fact, an al Qaeda member confessed to al-Qaeda's Deputy Operations Chief Ayman al-Zawahiri location specifically because his captors were decent & fair
Moreover, heads of DOD make case people joined against America simply because of their indecent atrocities at Gitmo; and, that just as many Americans have died as a direct result of those atrocities at Gitmo as have died in the WTC towers!
Mr. O'Donnell exposed this guy for the idiot he is. The simplistic clap trap that these Republicans talk is laughable. Mr. Musser should look in a mirror, then he will truley be facing the face of terror. His party has, since 9/11, used fear and terror everyday to trick and intimidate the Ameican people. Words can not express the contempt I have for these simple minded fools.

it was clearly amateurish. O'Donnell isn't a "good reporter" OR a bad reporter, because he's not a reporter at all. He's a political commentator, like Pat Buchanan or Al Franken. Expressing his opinion is what he gets paid to do.
Lawrence O'Donnell was Democratic Chief of Staff of the United States Senate Committee on Finance from 1993 through 1995. In 1992, he was Chief of Staff of the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
So no, he's not a "journalist" (I don't blame you for not knowing...but it took me two minutes to look it up)
It doesn't seem that you have a clear example to prove your claim, just a partisan point of view.
I was thinking Nora not O'donnell. It clearly stated Lawrence was an analyst, like I am. It was Nora I was criticising, but then again this is an edited version of the video so maybe it didn't quite play out that way on the air
This man is a moron of the highest order.

You just took O'Donnell's charge against Musser and clumsily attempted to turn it on the reporter. Lame.
Nothing amateurish about the reporting here.
O'Donnell cited his sources and supported his thesis. Musser simply claimed he could "look in the eyes of terror" without explaining his meaning.
Amazing you could even claim the opposite. Says something about the level of argument coming from torture defenders.

Damn, O'Donnell just kicked his ass.
It's about time we get serious about this.
The torture will not go unpunished, as long as we keep talking about it and never let it go we will bring those bastards to justice.
