I guarantee you that no one here that is ridiculing the TEA Party has even attended an event.

The TEA Party also backs closing tax loopholes and establishing flat, visible, and unavoidable taxes; bringing all taxes down by broadening the base. Nice try here, but the thing is, the "Hi I'm a Tea Partier" video actually has a basis in reality, the way things really are in the current American discourse. I watched the tea party video previously, and while I consider myself a liberal person, I also like to take a step back and judge myself from time to time. Thank you for giving me an alternate perspective. I want to hold myself accountable, frankly so that this doesn't happen to me in real life (I don't want to be made a fool). I think that both videos had a few valid points in each. Either way, you should decide what is right or wrong based on your personal beliefs, not because of your party.

@rockingForever17 if this video is a joke, then that's great, but the video it is responding to is not a joke, it is funny, but it is making a political point, if this video is just not supposed to make sense then it doesn't efficiently defend the tea-partiers points, which is what i thought the point of the video was. if not and this is just supposed to make no sense then i guess i have nothing to say because the video is simply making no political statement.

this video is full of inaccuracies. sure, there needs to be more accountability in the political system but this video sides completely with the republican platform of: "if it was positive, take the credit. if it was negative, blame the democrats." both sides have screwed up but at least the democrats are more willing to admit when they've made mistakes.

the problem with the political system is that the average american just rolls over whenever told & there is no accountability on either side; though, the democratic party's position concerning gay marriage & abortion is much more balanced, logical and less abused as a method to get the ignorant masses to fall into line with the moneyed few.

I watched the tea party video previously, and while I consider myself a liberal person, I also like to take a step back and judge myself from time to time. Thank you for giving me an alternate perspective. I want to hold myself accountable, frankly so that this doesn't happen to me in real life (I don't want to be made a fool). I think that both videos had a few valid points in each. Either way, you should decide what is right or wrong based on your personal beliefs, not because of your party.
