@IOSGamer15 The mod itself is free, but you need to buy "Crysis Warhead" to play it. Once you own Crysis Warhead, google "MWLL" for the mod's website to download the mod.
In mw4 the timber wolf is a great asset if used properly. I did well with it and usually ended in top 3. I have no idea about what your talking about. And personaly i like the mw4 madcat look the best
@jackgiggal In MWLL, the Mad Cat dies pretty quickly. The Atlas lacks firepower (because it's the worst Assault mech at the moment). The Mad Cat has a top speed of 73kph in MWLL, slower than the Inner Sphere's "Thanatos", which will shit on a Mad Cat at close range.
@jackgiggal The Timber Wolf was a piece of junk in MW4. It's center torso hitbox was so large you could easily core it without touching any other armor pieces. Besides, the meta was all JJ and PPC poptarting, it was without the jump-jets.
@jackgiggal And there is no "Set it up" Can only run with default configs, not mech lab as of yet, they have far too much to work out/balance before we will
@saber15 No doubt dude but it also let alot of new people develop an interest in the battletech universe so I can't knock it for that. I still play MechWarrior 4 on my crappy pc xD otherwise I'd be playing this 24/7 lol
That atlas can take a beating. I wish I could play this... A company has to wise the fuck up and get behind this. and then they got to develop and release mechassault 3
MechAssault is kinda hated by fans of MechWarrior, since it was an arcadey game in comparison to MechWarrior's simulation style. I like MechAssault, but it pales in comparison to MechWarrior.
@deusxinvisiblewar3 I don't understand. You mean picking different loadouts for the mechs? You just buy preset loadouts (mech customization isn't in the game yet).
Firing different weapons is done by setting groups. You fire groups with mouse buttons or the number keys. I might have my lasers in group 1, Gauss Rifle in group 2, and missile launchers in group 3. I'd use the left mouse button to fire my lasers, right mouse button to fire the Gauss, and middle mouse button to fire the missiles.
@deusxinvisiblewar3 Oh, that. What weapon you have equipped in a slot will determine the shape of the arm. There's Mad Cat MKIIs with guns replacing the "ear" missile launchers, and Bushwackers with ballistic guns in each arm, rather than the standard ballistic arm and missile arm. Vultures have very modular weapon slots, so they can fit almost anything in them. Gauss arms, LRM pod arms, et cetera.
@GhostKnt This video is in the team deathmatch mode. There's also "Terrain Control", which plays like Conquest in Battlefield. You capture bases which have repair bays, mech factories, and turrets, in order to drain the enemy team's spawn tickets.
@1r0nbane Mauler and Atlas both have crazy high armor. Generally IS Assaults will have more armor than guns, and vice verse with Clan Assaults -- more guns than armor.
@mwhighlander yeah, i tend to perfer the inner sphere more than clanners when it comes to combat approach. Using IS mechs takes skill due to the lack of offensive punch. The mauler and annihilator are my two favorite IS mechs.
I really hope they make the Mcat prime cheaper in an upcoming patch

I like the improvements to the cockpit. The old Atlas cockpit looked stupid. Also I'm a big fan of the Atlas.

I would've arrived in a madcat or catapult.

@Battleship009 Mad Cat screams "SHOOT ME" almost as much as an Atlas, and it's a lot more expensive.

But I'm good with them.

@saber15 mad cat faster and can have equal firepower if you set it up correctly worth the expensis if you ask me

@saber15 wow games change since MW 4 it used to be mad cat and vulture being best mechs around due to overall stats

How you can choose the weapon like the vulture with the missile launcher at the end ?

@saber15 I mean at the end, there is a Vulture with a small missile launcher who replace his classic arm.
So maybe it's a different loadout like you said.
