Ye Gods! Whose fault is this ghastly cock-up, conductor or orchestra? I never rated the OSR for precision or virtuosity, but here they surpass themselves, with wrong, or no-entries, leading to chaos or glaring gaps, the poor hornist going it alone more than once! Probably limited preparation/rehearsal, and the work was very new. I've admired much of Horenstein's work; can this really be him? It's not by chance a confusion with Horst Stein, who conducted regularly in Geneva...?

A real mess! Bad entries by the orchestra and the soloist, who play a full measure apart for nearly a minute in the middle.
