This makes me chuckle. As a bus driver I have gone the wrong route more than once, always to a very helpful chorus of, "you're going the wrong way driver". No use getting annoyed, just make a joke of it and get back on route ASAP

In my experience when drivers go the wrong way, they usually look around until they find the road they're supposed to be on, and carry on from there (occassionally with help from passengers - it does happen). And if he shouted at any of the passengers, it's probably because an idiot opened the emergency exit at the rear!

Not as bad as my bus driver, a few months ago the bus come upto a road that was flooded about upto half a metre deep. The bus was one with a low floor and was very busy, instead of turning around and going another way, the bus driver thought he would just go straight through the flood. Everyone on the bus got soaked and their stuff ruined!
