Nobody hate me for this and put thumbs down on this comment but i understand why Godzilla isn't number one on this list not everybody likes him no matter how long he has been around. Speaking of him, I think every monster in the Godzilla franchise is supposed to be a dinosaur like Titanosaurus is supposed to be a spinosaurus, Rodan is supposed to be a pteranodon, and Anguirus is supposed to be an ankylosaurus. So what is Godzilla (besides king of the monsters)? A T-Rex?

Some of the Godzilla monsters were supposed to be highly mutated dinosaurs (Godzilla,Titanosaurus,Gorosau­rus) but most were either aliens (King Ghidorah,Gigan) or robots (Mechagodzilla,Moguera).

Dinosaurs are not complete monsters, but the ones in JP aren't natural to begin with.
