Exactly why do you get them apart only to sew them back together. is it just to piece the end corners .. those could be done before the wings are placed, then sew up the center... I don't get the reason for cutting and resewing?
The wings lift up and out of the way and are easy to quilt around.The more quilting done around the wings the better they pop and contrast the background. It really is easy to do. Thanks for commenting.
I don't understand...how is the final product when all assembled quilted? You don't quilt over the design because it would flatten it out. Thanks for info....looking forward to trying this project.
