definitely he could go up to 145 if he wanted to..He has the height and frame i think,,bigger frame than Pacquiao,so definitely he has room for putting more mass on..I'm 5'5 and 140 pounds..and i feel great,,just little bit of fat,tiny bit..the secret is,don't put on the muscles too much in the chest area,that's what slows you down perhaps,Look at Pacquiao,he hasnt lost his speed because he put on the muscles on more on his quads and calves to make it to 145 or so lol..just my thought..

The punch is KO of the Year Candidate of course, but I think Donaire's fight plan and execution, reading his opponent, in the context of a high speed chess match between two grandmasters, was very impressive and probably unmatched.

Awesome week for Philippine boxing! Donaire, Gesta and Melligen all winning their bouts! finally Philippine boxing is getting what it deserved after years of being in the backseat!
The awesome thing about the punch was that Donaire took a right and dust it off as if it was a nuisance fly and delivered that thundering left hook so fast that it arrived on Montiel's cranium almost at the same time as he hit Donaire with the right. It is common to see killer KO punch from clean punching but this just bogs anybody's mind. He delivered the KO punch while absorbing a power right hook as well. If you look closely on the super slomo, Montiel is doing a full swing with that right!

This win for Donaire can have serious set backs as not many fighter really wants to share with him the ring with limited purse money and very high risk of getting seriously hurt. This is the same thing that happened after he KOd Darchinyan. Pacquiao on the otherhand, though a monster in the ring has everybody lining up because they know the fight involve millions.
Lets give Donaire 3 years to plump up and to gain more victories... by then Pacquiao would be 35 still well within fighting age and we'll see. A Nonito and Manny fight would be awesome!!!

I still think Donaire belongs in the 140-150 weight classes cause of his height. Im exactly his height 5'7 but im 145 pounds and feel skinny still.
