I used "Hooked On Classics" release in the early 80's. It was a good way to morph from the original soundtrack into the "pop" soundtrack I did. It makes more sense watching the entire movie with the alternative soundtrack, but unfortunately that has been restricted by WMA.
Meh not that great. The music doesn't coordinate with the pictures well. At softer parts of the original song you just have much stronger beats. Obviously the movie was based off of the original song but to go so far as to say "I can't believe it's not Fantasia," there is no way I would get slightly confused about the dubbing.
Err.... you barely changed the beginning! This isn't a dub-over atm: just the original piece. Did you get bored or summat lol :D just what music were you using in this whole project? Fantasia's theme was classical - and so was Fantasia 2000. You shouldv'e stuck to one genre of music or something. NOTE FOR FUTURE REFERANCE: Using music with a lotta words or a sotry to it (ie a ballad) is not always the best route to take. Good work though. Your effort in your work is shown. Well done :)
Picture it as an entire movie, like I have at home. The idea was to re-dub the movie with pop songs - some work, some don't. But to do an entire 2 hour movie - you've got to allow some low points. No, I didn't get bored - I purposely left the beginning of this segment as the original to demonstrate the original soundtrack before gradually changing to pop. Believe it or not, a lot of people don't actually know the "classical" genre here. This was done to help them understand.
The way they tagged the "Day in the life" Crescendo on the end didn't really work for me since that last chord just sounded out. Off key. Incongruous.
tHE mEDLEY OF THE CLASSICAL SONGS RENDERED IN A MODERN TUNE WAS EXCELLENT...WOULD ANYBODY CARE TO GIVE THE PIECES IN THE MEDLEY....YOU HELPED ME FINISHED MY ASSIGNMENT...HAHA...THANX

At 4:10-4:34, and at 4:54-5:10, I heard remixes of two pieces of music from Fantasia 2000, Rhapsody In Blue, and Beethoven's 5th Symphony!
