  • Are you British? Nice accent and humour.

  • Nice, please see my video of a tamiya 1:48 Dornier Do335.

  • jealous!

  • Strange that you got a kit with Japanese instructions. The ones I am familiar with all had English instructions. Yours was probably very early in the run.

  • Looks Kind of like a Zaku!

  • @silvias13ftw This is no Zaku boy! No Zaku!

  • @VictoryZetaMKII I you payed attention to my camment, I said it looks like a Zaku :)

  • @silvias13ftw yeah...that was a quote from Ramba Ral.....but since I had to explain it, the joke lost it's touch >.O

  • wow pretty nice for a kit that old, very nice!

  • what's with the poor audio and low quality video? Nice review mate. Dougram I think is the Japanese name.

  • the missle launcher could be another transformers refrence it looks like soundwaves cholder canon

do you have anay plans on finishing these and im guessing you on vacation at your parents house because youve been there for a while now doing videos

  • @greenmondaymorning No, it wasn't a Transformers reference. Fang of the Sun Dougram (what these kits are actually from, made by Takara in Japan and repackaged by Revell) predates Transformers by two years. The designs were on a more realistic/military side of mecha design compared to things like Gundam, so multiple Dougram designs featured barrel-shaped rocket launchers like those of real life military equipment around that time.

  • If you keep finding stuff in the attic I am going to unsubscribe!!! lol JK!!! This is like an ancient Zaku... You have a lot of interesting stuff at your parents house!!! Are you going to be bring all these treasures home?

  • I can see the design's taken alot of the idea from Zaku II

  • Revell Germany did the same back then. From now and then I see them at the bay (dot de version). It's craz ythat they meshed up japanese models from different animes into this robotech defenders series (macorss, dougram...).

    Great find. I like it!

  • it really is reminesent of a zaku cannon

  • Its unseen Thunder Bolt from Battletech!

  • Man that brings back memories, I remember building a Veritech Robotech/Macross Cyclone Cycle.

  • Oh Wow that brings back memory's :) Just so you know there was a 3 part mini series comic from Marvel showing off all the robots from the Dougram series but rename as Robotech Defenders. This is really a big kit for a 1/48 scale. If you had the 1/48 gundam you should put is side by side!

  • That's the one robotech model I had as a kid. In Battletech, this is the Griffin, iirc.

  • OMG, That is the best kit so far...

    I want it!

  • Thumbs up. I wish I was into modeling as a child. The only model I had was some airplane model which has been long trashed. I routinely threw out my old toys. =(. Never again.

  • Robotech Zaku cannon!

  • I think my brother had this kit.

  • lol it dose look like a zaku! :D

  • I had this kit as a kit. Painted it black just like the box cover. It was pretty big as a remember. It was a nice kit.

  • interesting

  • How did you end up with so many unfinished kits in storage?

  • @atari67 My parents have a big attic.

  • LOOKS LIKE A ZAKU!!!
