Zakir ji..i think is a Genius of this era and era-s to come...:)
he is simply great...humans generally use 5-6% of their brain as per scientists but Zakir Ji uses maybe more than 20% i guess...his touch on an instrument is charming and can make great music out of the most non-musical item...we should all touch his feet and thank god for his gift to humanity in times of such bad events and terrorism all over the world!!...
yea this was an awesome show.... incredibly intimate... the played a community college with perhaps a 200 person turnout.....some how with exploration we ended up backstage...... a good night.
if you get a chance to see this show, GO!!! I went sunday night in Columbus and it was breathtaking, absolutely incredible. This show had me locked in a trance from beginning to end.
Mickey Hart is amazing. He sees the potential for music in things that everybody else would destroy in a fire pit.
