  • How much flour and salt cod fish the whole 16 oz?

  • @geneva1113 The amount of Codfish depends on the amount you wish to make. As for the flour; just enough to make a batter. Let me know how it turned out. Thanks.

  • @babygyalk Glad you liked it. If you have a suggestion for a recipe, please share it and I'll try my best to research and make the video.

  • hello sorry i took so long to reply every one loved them at xmas and in fact i have been asked to make a load for a birthday this sunday thanks again x

  • thank u for making this i was looking how to make this for some time now, i wanted to ask u is it plain flower u used? i want to make this at christmas thank u once again :-)

  • Yes. I used plain all purpose flour. If you want them to be full and fluffy the you may use self-rising flour (I think). I have never done that so I don't know how it would turn out. Thanks for watching.

  • hi sorry i forgot to ask can we also deep fry them or is it better to shallow fry them like in ur video?

  • I don't think so because the batter is very much like a slightly thicker pancake batter. In my experience, frying them in a frying pan is the way to go. Please t.ell me how you did making them. Share the experience. Thanks

  • hello thank u and i will let u no how i do, im making them 2mro so fingers crossed! lol

  • Good on you!!!

  • Nice video. I wish you had more fitting music, i.e something from the Caribbean, Calypso, Soca etc. This takes me back to when I was young, my mum is from Barbados, she made these as a treat and sure they were. I need to learn how to make them now.

  • Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes. Using music in Videos is a major problem. You simply can not use just any music; the music has to be either from creative commons, royalty-free music and one gets permission from the creator of the music. I would love to get music from struggling musicians and use their music.

  • Thanx for letting me know. Also did you cook the cod fish..?

  • The codfish is dried fish, and all I had to do was to shred the fish prior to placing it into the mixture. As a matter of fact, I'll be making some tomorrow.

  • my mom always made this for me on Sundays when I was growing up in Jamaica

  • nice
