@AmandaSarp those kinds of things happen when you love your partner so much because you want them to be all yours and no one elses'. You just need to learn together to TRUST each other. It's all about communication and trust in a relationship. Once you can conquer those two things your relationship wont have those problems any more.

@101foreveryoung my boyfriend used to do drugs and party a lot because it let him hide from his past. he got through it and doesn't do those things anymore, he needed to get it out of his system. I don't know how old you are, but I'm 21 and so is my boyfriend, we've been through our ups and downs about his past, but the love is stronger than his past. Be CAUTIOUS, don't jump into things too fast, and always be honest with yourself if things aren't going the way you need.

Ok well...first off hi lol and now my question.I live with my boyfriend he's my second longest relationship we've been together 1yr now I'm his first real relationship everyone else before me was like just flings/booty-call type girls. He says that he thinks I'm beautiful and pretty but not hot. That the word to him means someone you want to sleep with (i.e. slutty) not someone you want a relationship with. Am I crazy or is that weird I've never heard that explanation and it frustrates me.

Why do you have to be with someone who is flawless? There is ALWAYS going to be something you don't like about a person. Every person in my life, whether it is my boyfriend or best friend, there is something about them I don't like. Trying to find someone who is flawless isn't a good goal, because you will be alone forever.

Go up to him and introduce yourself-- you will NOT make a fool of yourself. trust me. Otherwise, if you do nothing, you will end up going to prom alone too. My best friend Sarah used to be skinny, now she's over weight. Her bf loved her so much but when she gained the weight he started to make bad comments and jokes about her body, I remember once we went to the beach and he said to her ''Why did you wear that pikini? Be confident and brave. Go up to him and introduce yourself or start off asking for his name and say that you have seen him around-- maybe he could walk you to your next class and get to know eachother.

I've been dating my boyfriend for six months, and we've known each other for about two years (he's my brother's bestfriend!). The problem with us, is we both feed off of each other's insecurities because we are both very insecure about ourselves. We constantly fight about stupid things that have to do with those insecurities.. anywhere from jealousy, sex, etc. Do you have any advice on how to not be so insecure and just relax around the one you really love?

It's all about communication and trust in a relationship. Once you can conquer those two things your relationship wont have those problems any more.

@101foreveryoung my boyfriend used to do drugs and party a lot because it let him hide from his past. he got through it and doesn't do those things anymore, he needed to get it out of his system. I don't know how old you are, but I'm 21 and so is my boyfriend, we've been through our ups and downs about his past, but the love is stronger than his past. Be CAUTIOUS, don't jump into things too fast, and always be honest with yourself if things aren't going the way you need.
