It reminds me of how I look compared to many of the adolescent/young adult boys and men who work and attend the church I go to. They wear tight jeans, I wear loosey jeans. They wear tight, preppy shirts, I wear large t-shirts. They sport moptop/emo hair, I sport chopped up long hair that's in a ponytail. They're all thin and lanky, I'm trim but look well fed.
Also,i mentioned bands from the 1970s only, because this part of the documentary is mostly about the early punk music scene.
But you're right.The Runaways Go-Go's Bikini Kill,Bratmobile,L7,etc. also worth mentioning! As for Patti Smith and Blondie,even if they're not considered punk,they influenced the women in punk bands,both in attitude and sound.
