As far as mods are concerned I haven't really done any except for adding a shim to the rear of the strut to keep the nose down and give it more of a level ride. As you can see in the video I was running it at full throttle about 95% of the time, I figure if I can't hold it at full throttle there ain't no since at taking it to the pond.
I have the Warehouse Hobbies Boat on another video that you asked about . The lake that we run on is in Fulton NY ... Its the only lake in Fulton , it has a real large beach area that is just perfect for running RC boats . The swim area is closed for ever so its wide open . I'm selling my boat if your in the market .... Trouble is it has a hole in the rear port side . It can be fixed with out much problem but I'm not into that anymore . Everything else is in great shape .
Steve, I really enjoy the Sikk engine very easy starts, the throttle is very smooth and responsive I just haven't gotten the needle valves adjust completly to where it hits the tune pipe the way I want it. As far as the strut it is the stock strut supplied by ProBoat and center line of the shaft is about 1 1/4 inch drop from the bottom of the hull. Dave
