Heh, I love your covers man, I'm about 6 years younger than you, but I've played most of these games, ha, I would love to jam with you some time, I'm starting to arrange my own video game covers, but I don't have the equipment, and very few instruments, just my bass, classical, and electric guitars. I have chops... but organizing stuff into an arrangement has always proved difficult for me. However, I would love to make videos like these (i.e. video game covers).

@DoopaLoopa I spent years listening to these tunes. When I need a specific instrument for an arrangement, I practice and practice the part I'm supposed to play until I'm satisfied with it, even if it's with an instrument I've never used before. :)

Yeah, I have enjoyed listening to some of these as well as many other classic video game themes for many years too. Some sort of magic happens with video game synth that no orchestra can ever replace (except for high quality covers like yours, of course ; )

...and for me personally, that applies to games that I have never played as well. XD

I always play with fingers and I don't have long nails too. I don't think it has serious effect on the rhythm, but it's easier to make harmonics with long nails, for example.
