oh dear they really should have stopped after faded seaside glamour. Under achieving? Yes. Under rated? No. Serriously why listen to this when you can listen to The Thrills? Though have to say long time coming is a brilliant song, but i dont think since then they have even come close to what they really could achieve.

I used to like The Thrills. Until I discovered Delays. Made me realise that their style of music can actually be done a hell of a lot better.

And Delays have a decent vocallist. Conor Deasy... weak.

Delays' songs tend to be stronger too. I'd like to see The Thrills write a tune like 'Valentine'.

Though I do agree that this tune is nowhere near as good as anything on Faded Seaside Glamour. It's pleasant and all - but not outstanding like their other material.

The difference between these two bands is that the thrills make albums which feel as though that they havent been backed into making four brilliant songs and the rest filler. The delays have stand out songs and thats it. They so nearly get there but not quite. Vocal wise Conor has this beautiful fractured voice like sam herhily from hope of the states which i find so endeering. The Thrills have our wasted lives which is better than valentine! Valentine it drags on should only be 3!
