Nice review. I've read around the web that some people have experienced the rubber edge on thier cases begin peeling and deteriorating pretty quickly, have you noticed any of this during your time with the case?

I bought this case and I hate it, the rubber is crap and rubs off. I went to Best Buy and bought the Griffen Reveal Frame Case. I looks the same as the Case-Mate Hula with the rubber of the iPhone Bumper. Its not on the Griffin website but you can see it on bestbuy.com. DO NOT buy the Case-Mate.

Nice video. I think the companies need to be more unique. now griffin has theirs too which looks very similar and costs the same as hula but knowing griffin they dont include screen protectors. Hmm.

Awesome review. Mine is supposed to ship today in red...I was just wondering if you know whether or not it will fit over a clear-coat side protector thing that covers the metal band (since it's tighter fitting than the bumper which I have now)

@grundmanator you'll be able to get it on over the clear coat sides but it'll most likely damage it when you go to remove it. Best to use it without side pieces.

hey larry, i think the injection is on all of them as i have owned the bandedge for quite awhile now. Although i wanted to ask if u have seen any form of pealing. After only one week of use my top layer of the black sort of started to peal.

Hi Larry,Thank's for the comparison video,As you may remember i was quite interested in the Scosche before the Casemate Hula came out but could not find a UK stockest,That's a surprise,anyway now that CM have bought their version out i think i'm gonna have to get me one,as compared to the Apple Bumpers i don't like the look and want that clear band design to show off the Stainless Steel band around the IP4's edge,Top Notch Video BTW,Excellent Combination :)

great video, I was looking for this exact comparison. I've got the Scosche and like it but the rubber wears and breaks up easily. Does the Case Mate use the same type of rubber?

hey larry. I have heard of major issues on the Scosche where you can't plug most any headphones into the iPhone. Can you try this with the official apple headphones and other headphones? I am thinking of getting the Scosche but it will be a big turnoff if my apple headphones don't work.
