  • "You! Turn off the google!"

You man, make some hilarious videos... If it wasn't for the seriously sad undertones it couldv'e been real fun. It is difficult to believe this country is for real...

  • @maxxx2703 Someone is boring as a turd.... hint: it's you

  • boring and superficial "documentary"

  • There's a North Korean Space Agency? bahahahahahahahahaha

  • This is full of awesome.

  • Haha, the soldiers strolling around the party with hands behind their backs just make it all.

  • Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for these videos! After the death of Kim Jong Il I was very interested to North Korea and their way of living and trying to lie to the rest of the world. The thing I like about these videos is that they are a shot with a bit of humour as opposed to other videos out there. Once again thanks and good luck on your future journeys. :)

(Don't mind spelling errors I'm Dutch)

  • Why do they call north korea a socialistic paradise? It's apparently a totalitarian dictatorship in which the masses get brainwashed and revolutionaries are deterred with capital punishment and torture, while all external information gets blocked out. How is that putting focus on socialism or a paradise for socialism.

  • @ac1th Well, that's the running joke. China, Soviet Union, Cambodia, Vietnam... Dozens of others were all called "socialist" but they were/are essentially doing the same thing. In order to get to socialism or communism, you need a massive turnover in the way a country is running, which at the same time exposes the place to the megalomaniac, sociopathic "leaders". These great leaders have emerged in every self-described "worker's paradise". It just doesn't work...

  • is there an age limit for dancing in North Korea ? because I see only old people dancing ;)

  • It's funny how the pictures and statues don't show the very large lump on the side of Kim Il Sung's neck.

  • You turn off the Google.. lol!!! awesome mate!!!

  • Hey, at least those rides are Juche-compliant, so you can rest assured you'll be safe...

  • dude i loved this.. thank you for taking the time to upload this video! alot of the moronic comments here are from morons that dont understand sarcasm and are too damn serious... you did nothing wrong at all on your trip, you were just having fun and you were honest about how you feel about this oppresive regime..

  • lol Great series. Just the perfect level of smart assishness too. Is that a word? Oh well, if it isn't it still works. :)

  • lol @ 2:20 thats funny

  • anyone knows the background song used at fun fair?

  • @monkeetime Haha I just LOVE that guard thing. You also remind me of the "Madventures" guys, if you're familiar with that show.

  • Very good series. I don't think you're clowns. I've watched many documentaries on North Korea, both produced by wealthy news programs and by people unaffiliated with news corporations, & this seems to me to be easier to watch because it isn't so serious & crammed into a formulaic script that has been told a thousand times. Despite having minders w/ you at all times I find it impressive you were able to take pictures & get your point across to the camera. You sneaky dread-locked Western ninja :)

  • hello kitty cake. lol

  • I love when the random North korean soldier pops up.

  • It would be cool to se Rémi Gaillard in North Korea.

    Well, maybe not...

  • i guess north korea is the only place in the world where you can play jump rope in the street and survive.

  • North Korea is so pathetic you almost want to cry. It's like watching a mentally challenged, one legged 7 year old trying climb a flight of stairs while thanking his abusive parents for only cutting off the leg he didn't need.

  • I kinda like the setting with empty streets and no cars. I'm anti-social and want to live in korea now.

  • if these guys werent such clowns this could have been very interesting to watch

  • they only had light and street lamps in pyongyang. I guess Kim Jong Il lives there too.

  • at least they have parties ,fake or not ,who cares ,here in Saudi i'm not allowed to dance or sing or walk without my black cover in public ,if i did ,i'll be dead

  • @ArwaLaw Seems to me you Arab neighbors are doing a good job of getting their current leaders out of office and off the throne. Take notes from their success and their failures. Your freedom is in your hands you just have to fight for it.

  • @nthrasher04

You can't compare them to Arabs - it was like you get rid of Allah. The great leader is a God, not just a leader.

  • @ArwaLaw can i kiss you

  • @ArwaLaw Fuck the saudi royals .. fuck their rich dogs .. fuck the wahabists bastards ...

You people should take it to the streets like in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon etc. Don't stand for Sharia law .. Secularism and Democracy for life

    from Turkey

  • @3choBlaster are you new to the english language?

  • @ZIYR0 no and who the f cares

  • @3choBlaster Secularism?

  • @ZelZarKi Secularism = the separation of state and religion.

  • @ArwaLaw We, at least you have the internet.

  • @ArwaLaw I'm sorry to her of that. It must be terrible. How do you stand it.

  • @ArwaLaw At least you can use the internet and eat in Saudi Arabia, a luxury to avaiable to North Koreans.

  • @CubanodePlacetas A luxury not available to North Koreans.

  • @Wolf78033 Or to Cubans in Cuba to cite another "interesting" place!

  • @ArwaLaw that sucks :( you should move away...... :)

  • @ArwaLaw

Well, you're allowed on the internet though. But yeah, I'd say fuck your government bro.

  • That dancing part was so unbelievably sick. I weren't aware how horrible NK must really be.

  • what is the name of song used in fun fair

  • If Tom Green ever went to North Korea, it would have been like this.

  • @chromelemon Tom Green in North Korea is a great idea XD

  • 03:44 - Actually the radio tower from Poland you're referring to (RCN Konstantynów) collapsed in 1991 (accident during construction maintenance). But it had a really good reason to be exactly that insane high (646m). Radio station broadcasted on wave 227 kHz and that is the wave length of about 1322m. The tower itself was a half-wave dipole antenna (being exactly half the length of the wave). Physics here, not megalomania. ;-)

Funny and informative documentary. Great work!

  • @raptorekpl Ja wiem, tak tylko powiedzialem zeby nikt mnie nie oskarzyl ze tylko atakuje inne kraje a nie swojego. Dlatego tez dozucilem CN Tower w Toronto.

  • the north korean tour guides and dancers in this video have all been executed for not being able to convince the tourists of how awesome north korea and its great leader is. all this because OP couldn't shut his faggot mouth and thinks that the korean gestapo doesnt know how to search for north korea videos on youtube, how do you feel now OP?

  • @twominutesremaining What the hell is "OP"? What's with the homophobia? Have you not been formally welcomed to 2011 and are still stuck in 1953? Anywho... When you resolve your personal issues, you will have plenty of time to appreciate the fact that I dont give a flying monkey's left buttcheek about the "guides" and "actors" who are an integral part of the problem. Have a fabulous and rainbowy day! Muah!

  • @monkeetime

good to know that you're happy when a gruesome regime tortures and kills its citizens (of which many likely have children and family to feed...) because you couldn't help to travel there (and by that also financing that regime...), make videos of you openly mocking that same regime while also filming the people from whom you exactly know that they will be executed for some retarded reason like "not preventing a faggot tourist mocking our glorious country on youtube". Way to go

  • @twominutesremaining You are the true freedom fighter. Like Che Guevara. I want a t-shirt with your face printed on it. My hero. You have made the whole world better already.

  • @monkeetime

after i proved your sad excuse of an argument to be invalid by showing you that your whole stance is solely built on contempt for people that already suffer under a gruesome regime, you turn around and give me this sarcastic shit? lol you really made an idiot out of yourself.

  • @twominutesremaining I feel sad now.

  • @monkeetime

and by the way let's summarise: 1. you probably paid shitloads of money to some NK government (who probably will use it to build another torture chamber or buy nukes...) official to travel there, 2. while there you openly mock the NK government and put it on youtube thereby prolly endagering all the north koreans shown in the video, 3. you say those north koreans are the ones to blame as they are part of the problem...

  • @twominutesremaining Quite clearly, you are NOT on your highschool's spelling team...

  • @monkeetime I agree with twominutesremaining. If you wanna visit the DPRK then fine but at least go there with an open mind, not just to spend a week mocking them and making stupid jokes. Everyone knows NK is nuts alread and yes, it's your guides who will get in the neck when officials see that you've filmed stuff you're not meant to film and are making jokes about the country on the internet.

BTW as a sidenote you have ADD dude. You should get that checked, if you weren't already aware.

  • @u01mph Take that comment that you just wrote, but instead of "DPRK" put in "Nazi Germany", "Rwanda", or "Libya" (during Q-daffi's rule) and see if your recipe still stands. Places run by total cunts are nothing to be openminded about. The guides, as agents of the propaganda machine, are part of the problem by trying to distort the image. And thanks for the sidenote, I am sure you got a keen and complete sense of my personality from my videos. I will get it checked today. Have a great day.

  • @monkeetime You're right, I would have an open mind about such places as a result of strong opinions formed in advance. As a result I would not chose visit them or fund their regimes. Were I to choose to do so however, I would behave myself when there, whatever my own personal opinions may be.

  • *would not have, sorry.

  • @u01mph Naaaah... That's just... boring conformity... Gotta stick it to the bastards, and I don't mean "sometimes", I mean "all the time". And besides, if you aren't living on the edge, you are taking up too much space.

  • @monkeetime I see. Well, I would disagree but there you go. I hope you enjoyed 'sticking it' to the North Korean people and the difference you made by doing so. And I wish you all the best in life. Cheers.

  • @monkeetime Actually, I was wondering:

    1. Is it possible yet for American citizens to visit North Korea?

    2. If so, how expensive would you say it is?

It just seems like one of those places that has to be seen to be believed; almost like something out of a Terry Gilliam movie.

  • @neosoc Yes, there were two Americans in our group. You are looking at about 1200 Euro for a 5-6 day trip. I was thinking more along the lines of "out of an Orwell book", but this will do. Ciao!

  • @u01mph LOL he does NOT have ADD. this is him just being himself and having fun. quit being soo damn close minded dude.... ADD is a false mental disorder created my big pharma companies jackass!.. this video was great and he was being sarcastic, take the stick out your ass

  • Noff Kolea nr 1. Me flee to wlite on intelet.

  • That's where they do their high-G training, duh.

  • Three people are the Dear Leader

  • omg i swear to god I laughed so hard at that "no imperialistic pelvic thrusts".

What a happy group of people, what a shame that I wasn't born into this blessed country led by such a great and inspirational man.

  • north korea, the embodyment of the 5th amendment.

  • Oh you silly people with your cars. In North Korea you use teleportation, that's why streets are empty.

  • @GompCelticPL Yeah, but it sucks because it is one way and done with a handgun...

  • @GompCelticPL

Guess the teleporter was one of great leaders inventions?

  • @HesseJamez Yeah, he was famous for his 'teleport all the food out of North Korea' trick.

  • where did you get the background music?

  • 0:49 looks like they are on drugs.

  • is kimjung has a wife??if there is no.... their dictatorship wil end

  • @ericsantiago011 he has a wife, and has named his 3rd son as his successor. So no, the dictatorship will not be ending anytime soon.

  • why that bus is like that????..if the bus miss the antena it will not work right=

  • dance is good for a while in this worldly financial slavery... :-) twenty four million people in North Korea is locked inside absurd state... but thirty million people in the USA live in the same poverty... :-) so, Americans, simply to admit, you're all brainwashed...

  • @michalthelion WRONG!!!... In the US, I can stand on the street, outside the White House with a sign "Obama Sucks" or "Bush is a twat" and I will not end up in a gulag or dead. In every country some people will end up poorer than others, that's just life. But getting killed for your thoughts, opinions or ideas... Don't even try to compare North Korea to the US.

  • you take a look at yourself, bro, what meaning does standing with any sign carry. You have to ask why in every country some people end up poorer than others. or dying with AIDS or cancer somewhere in the street of Chicago, not financially even eligible for emergency nor hospitalisation... It's theory of interest that enslaves people, all those tall buildings in Manhattan belong to banks, insurance companies where people who work there do nothing, just charge others with interest enslaving them.

  • @michalthelion I get what you are saying: obviously the US has serious problems. But there is something to be said for freedom of speech and not getting shot in the head for having an unpopular opinion. In every society there are have-nots, even in the enlightened ones like Norway or Sweden. But in North Korea there are millions of "have-nots" and one family of "haves".

  • @monkeetime for instance, JFK got shot in the head for unpopular opinion.

  • @michalthelion Looks like I am late to reply here... Michal, if you don't see the difference between an ASSASINATION, which is very illegal in the U.S., and a government sanctioned execution because someone was cought listening to a radio set, then there is no point talking to you. There must be a hundred or more Barney videos you can watch...

  • @monkeetime okay, no worries, we are both just normal human beings, who is Barney, you can tell me later but just now I'm interested in you explaining me the difference between that assassination and that government sanctioned execution.

  • @monkeetime Michal is right. You are brainwashed. Patrick Tillman. Was killed because he was about blowing the wissle. You can stand in front of the white house with a sign and no ones care. But if you have anyting important to say what might change the opinion of the people you will face the consequences.

You are either blind or a hipocrite.

  • @BigBangNeverHappend In North Korea your family will go to a concentration camp if you are caught listening to a non-government approved radio, watching TV, using a cellphone or reading a western book... I have been there, you havent. Thanks for watching and commenting, but I dont think you are all there mentally making these comparisons. Have a nice day.

  • @monkeetime In WW2 americans from japanese and germans descent went into camps too. A large group of americans is either in or at its way to jail for petty crimes which aren't really crimes to begin with. Like smoking weed. The difference is only in your head. I never went to Korea. But I have been to the DDR. Which is simular. BTW I don't suport those nations or socialism. Neither do I suport America and its capitalism. Both systems are fucking people over. You are brainwashed for sure.

  • @BigBangNeverHappend Wow, it's like pounding head against a concrete wall... YOu really (really?) don't see a difference between going to jail for smoking marijuana and for listening to radio? Most of the countries in the world regulate drugs, nothing special there. North Korea will ruin your life if you listen to the wrong radio, say the wrong thing, have the wrong thought, don't love the Dear Leader enough...

fuck... never mind.. you are retarded.

  • @monkeetime No I don't see the difference. There is no difference. Its a human right to consume what ever you want. Just like it is an human right to listen to the radio. But how am I going to explain this to a retarded brainwashed american. Btw the chinese will own your ass pretty soon too.

  • @BigBangNeverHappend This may not be the forum for this topic, but you are wrong anyways. You DO NOT have the right to consume anything you want, because you are not paying for the social/medical costs incurred by that behaviour. Anyway. Thanks for watching.

  • @monkeetime LOL you want to silence me. So much for american "free speech" The country where you can vote puppets. Even the death voted for bush LMAO. You brainwashed moran.

  • @BigBangNeverHappend You spelled "moron" wrong. Also, on my profile it states clearly that I am Canadian. Furthermore, this is Monkeetime, not some free speech land. Here I give you my opinion, and you learn it and cherish as your own. Your opinion doesnt matter. Seriously. It just... doesn't.

  • @monkeetime It matters because I am Swiss. We can not only vote. We people can call for a vote. So my opinion always matters.

  • @BigBangNeverHappend I'm sorry, what is this "Swiss" thing you speak of? Sounds like a place for laundering money stolen from dead Jews. You are so lucky to be a citizen.

  • @monkeetime It was gold from various nations and sources. Originally we are from germany. We fled to switzerland during ww2. I am 2nd generation born in switzerland and consider myself a swiss jew. Its obvious that you are miss informed about a great many things. Your videos were very intresting however you are so blinded its painfull to see.

  • @monkeetime You're not the only one who has been there. I have seen people with cell phones, listening to Western music, wearing American clothes. Did you ever think that maybe the reason you didn't see these things is because you clearly have an anti-NK agenda and they didn't want you to view the 'real' city? I'm not saying I support NK, I just think there are two sides to every story. BTW: I'd rather live in a nation of morality than one where you have the 'right' to insult people.

  • @aleronstube No, actually you misunderstood.. I stated, quite clearly, that there IS a cellular network in North Korea, but OUTSIDE cellular phones are not allowed in. This is done in order to control access to information / communication, and almost exclusively reserved for the "friends of the system", not just any riff-raff. I have not heard ANY western music, and in fact the DPRK government regularly goes around confiscating tapes which have been smuggled in. All clothes are from China.

  • @aleronstube As far as morality goes: I am not sure what kind of morality allows people to kill other people just because they have a different opinion. Yes, I insult people. I do it all the time. I am an asshole. But everyone should be entitled to their opinions, and everyone should freely share them without the fear of ending up in a gulag. I suggest you move to North Korea, but keep in touch, I want to know how things work out for you. Seriously. Move to North Korea. Do it.

  • @monkeetime Hi Monkee, I actually saw your other videos and I realize you’re pretty much a jerk to every country not just North Korea. My bad for thinking you were singling out one nation’s bad points, when you do it to every nation :P

As for morality, I understand what you’re saying about NK. But look up the video by Google Tech Talk, their professor visited NK and saw some of the things I talk about. The tours are restricted, and not the best way to view NK.

  • @aleronstube That being said, I don’t believe people have the right to be an asshole. Let me make it clear, I do NOT support communism, but I also do NOT support capitalism. I don’t agree with a country that gives rights for everything, just like I don’t agree with a country that controls everything for the ‘greater good’. I, myself, am a monarchist by nature, which I like to think has the best of both worlds.

  • @aleronstube Monarchist, eh? A man of progress...

  • @monkeetime Progress indeed! No system has had as many changes and advancements as monarchy has in its lifetime.

  • @aleronstube Impeccable logic...

  • @aleronstube That professor has been fed the same story they were feeding us, but he bought it. That video is a waste.

  • @monkeetime Actually the professor is quite anti-Korean. Get a job as a diplomat and visit NK without a guide, all access, talk to the people. That's how you learn about a country, not with a biased tour. You'll see some amazing things.

  • @aleronstube Well, I think the DPRK fails at advertising their awesomeness... They bring people on these restrictive tours, and dont let them see the good stuff... No wonder jerks like me walk away with the impression that the country sucks...

  • @monkeetime was JFK shot by some North Korean soldiers or police? I'm not saying I'm a fan of North Korea, I'm not and I'll never be but I'm just saying badness is badness and goodness is goodness, it generally doesn't matter about intensity of badness or intensity of goodness. I wish you travel to Switzerland next time and make a proper report because you make proper reports, you are talented.

  • @monkeetime and one exclusively important question remark... For which opinion JFK got shot in the head? It's all about one incorrect principle which must be clear to all people in the world. And it's not...

  • @michalthelion: Good god you're one dumb motherfucker.

  • @LizTaylorsGhost :-) you are shame of your parents you can call like that. :-) okay?

  • @roboticaamericana Sweeeeet... Pure sweeeeeeetness....! :-)

  • If I call Juche Tower, Juice Tower, will I get shot?

  • They must think he has some imperialistic evil hair.

  • lol its a race and north korea is winning, dude is this homemade you should work for the discovery channel

  • So is it just the part they show to tourists which is so clean and well groomed? Because when you showed that picture of Senegal I was thinking, that was my image of NK before watching these videos. Great stuff by the way!

  • this is so fucking brilliant

  • You can clearly tell that the old guy in the first few shots of film is literally dancing for his life.

  • Because of the communist party in north Korea all citys and highways names are not on google earth.

  • Not like those dancers were paid to do that to impress the guided tourists. Nope, not like that at all.

  • lol each one is a gem XD

  • you should have taught them how to dougie :D

  • F**k north korea, id rather be at Coachella.

  • Wow, those rides went so fast!! NK must be the world leader in amusement park technology.

  • @drdos4 What amusement park? This is the astronaut training faccility!

  • @monkeetime are you serious!

  • I'm aching for a vacation now

    awesome videos :)

  • What a frustrating looking place. Great if you don't mind being told how to think and love bullshit propaganda...

Great videos though, thanks for ignoring the rules and filming a lot.

  • AMAZING !!!! Great job!

Thank you for all those videos!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cuba looks like a liberal funpark in comparison :P

  • @monolog1988 At least most of the world outside the US can visit there.

  • I don't think I could ever visit NK. I'd get too frustrated with all the stupid rules and the frickin' watch dog of a tour guide. My ass would undoubtedly end up in jail.
