Actually both. The song "Bari Improve" is played by Kaki King, and "Dueling Guitars" by Heitor Pereira and Doug Smith. However Freddie had to learn these songs for it to look good when recording. I think some people might have got this part wrong, and thinks that Kaki King was his double. So the truth is, the track is dubbed (Kaki playing over Freddie), but Freddie is playing, for the eyes. I think they mention something about it in the ITN interview. Take a look at it.

He had to learn to play some parts, but the guitar slapping parts was played by Kaki King. She is local to Atlanta and she popularized that sound (my guitar teacher taught her). This is an amazing movie though and everyone in it is extremely talented!
