  • I really like your flowers. Just wondering what card stock you used to make them and did you ink them up yourself? Thanks :)

  • @11marylena It was a while ago, but I believe I used scrapbook paper and touched it up a bit with ink.

  • @nightcats Thanks...Also, will the pointsetta keep its shape over time or do you need some kind of spray over top of it? Would love to see some of your bead work as well. Thanks again

  • @11marylena The poinsettia keeps it shape unless of course you put a telephone book on top of it! LOL I don't actually do real bead work -- my eyesight is not good enough for such fine work. I do a little with beads to add centers to flowers and so forth.

  • the first few seconds she sounded like bonnie from family guy

  • amazing

  • Very helpful informative video, and what I like so much is that it is easy to understand, and uses things that many of us have around the house. So thanks very much, I'll be watching for more of your video's!

  • @anniew304 Thank you! Yes, I do try to use household items wherever possible. It's cost effective and better for the environment.

  • These are beautiful! I'm anxious to try them. TFS

  • Thank You for sharing your ideas. The flowers are lovely. I look forward to making my first paper flowers. I also looked into @sonofjd and you're right, he doesn't seem the type to write something so hateful. I'm sorry that happened to you. Clearly, whomever wrote it is mistaken. I hope you have a wonderful day.

  • @sonofjd I took a look at your profile and I think someone must be using your account. Surely a talented and creative man like yourself doesn't leave these sorts of messages.

  • @nightcats

What a punch in the face to him :D

Taking my attention away from your win, comes another epic win: the flowers. Awesome!

  • fantastic idea. my head is full of flower ideas. thanks again.

  • @missbeep09 Thanks. Glad you found the video useful.

  • Brilliant video. I found this really informative - thank you. I often make cards with flowers and usually use glitter or shiny card to add an interest to them - like you I cut out three flowers and layer them. I usually use a crystal brad for the middle but for smaller flowers use a small stick on fake crystal. I sometimes thread small beads on a wire and twisting it around the flowers - looks really nice.

  • @MsArtistic123 Thanks for the comment and for the tips. Your flowers sound delightful. I will be trying your suggestion regarding beads on a wire.

  • I love your video.... you did a wonderful job.... you make beautiful flowers...thank you so much for the information!

  • I didn't mean that sorry, It was my sister who wrote it. See she's obssesed with Harry Potter so she knows about everything about it and she owns all the books. I truly apologize for that, this is why I don't let her on my account heheh..
