It was not worth it Americans don't even know whom the Turkmen, Uzbeks, Tadjiks, or Pashtuns are. Americans have no idea about the decades long civil wars in central Asia nor that the losers of these civil wars sought refuge in Afghanistan. Why do we keep fighting destitute, illiterate farmers whom don't even have electricity. And why does it coast 1 million dollars annually to provide supplies for soldiers when local afghans sell these things pennies on a dollar.

The war has been worth it for the military industrial complex. Wars give useless military brass a job and a purpose. Look at all the private companies that make the planes, trains, autos, bullets and bombs. And let us not forget all the money and fringe benefits that the crooked politicians get. Only a child or a dunce would think the US is in Afghanistan to find the perpetrators of 9/11. Informed people know, it was the US military contractors who perpetrated 9/11 and the complex controlled demolitions it required. But that isn't the half of it. The occupation of Afghanistan is a desperate and pathetic last attempt by the fascist USA to gain power and control through brute force. And it is utterly doomed to fail and the bankrupt USA is in its last days. It's a classic failure pattern.
