the departed was based on bulgers ideas on how to run a "family". His main ways of making money were working the south boston rackets and importing cocaine. the FBI agent who tipped him off got ten years. Bulger is still out there, at least thats what i think. Hes to smart to get caught, and hes not old enough to die yet, I grew up like a block away form where his liquor store was, so i can remember seeing him in the newspapers and stuff

wow, this guy was a major player in the boston crime underworld, to my knowledge he hasnt been caught yet to this day. He killed, robbed and did all sorts of crime (almost controlling the biggest part of crime in Boston at one time)with the help of FBI agents. The guy who was assigned to him, fed him with info and shit. Never saw this vid be4. Its cool to see. But it only has meaning if you know something about him.
