Really good one! simple and safe. I was looking for the electric hoist, but I am concerned about the safty mechanism and issue and found many of them didn't have them. when you are disabled, you don;t want to be hang in the mid-air or drop down to floor. Could you send me details to zebra10001000@yahoo.com. Much thanks
This is a wonderful idea!!! Would you mind sending me your desing? I have a brother who is quadraplegic and has an electric wheelchair. It would be build something like this for him. Thank you!!!!
That is a wonderful, intelligent idea. I always wanted a cheap, power free and adjustable/flexible alternative lift for my wheel chair world. I think I got it.Could you please send me the details. Kindly treat this as urgent.
Simply brilliant! Genius! Human power whenever possible! Good thing you didn't use an electric motor and chain hoist, I've heard of a horror story because the motor cut off switch failed.
Sir, we would be sooo happy if you can email how we can get one for my husband? He already 43. I was telling him its going to be hard to go up and down the house in a few years...Though I may ask a friend who is an engineer to watch your video. I suppose they understand how. It was soo generous of you to share. Thanks so much! More power! God bless!
hi and thanks, yep was my design. i started off intending to use an electric chain hoist but thought counterweights would be much more pleasing. i love using it.
Brilliant! My dad built something like that for his boss after an accident the boss had, back in 1970, i was in high school and helped him, once you get the weight correctly balanced, you don't need electric power assist. My dad built that one, and then a rotary one (just for kicks, about 10 feet high model) that was a rotating belt with steps, and it never stopped, you just hopped on it and go. I never liked it, found it too narrow, but it worked really nice. Great job!
