  • If this was truly as terrible of a country as you say, they would all use live ammo. How about you guys do something more useful for this country like campaign for Ron Paul.

  • @BRONCOWEN Give it some time. They just might start.

  • @xXSPKINGXx They won't but I it wouldn't be a complete loss. At least they would stop costing the taxpayers money by causing destruction and requiring more police to be on the streets.

  • Why can't we ever have a peaceful demonstration in England everyone one of ours turns into full scale riots

  • i wish i was there but you have my support from los angeles california, what you guys should do is rally a bunch of ppl and suit them up as police officer in riot gear to protect the protesters from cops

  • hippies are comming back :DD

  • @GibsonElectricI You sound like a real fart smeller, I mean smart feller.

  • @GibsonElectricI Get the fuck out of this country you un-American piece of shit. These protesters are true patriots.

  • After the forceful response to the Occupy Oakland protests, officers in Atlanta moved in early Wednesday morning to clear a similar camp in that city’s central Woodruff Park. At least 53 people connected to the protest group Occupy Atlanta were arrested, and the park was cleared by 2 a.m. Eastern time, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.

  • Not a crime that deserves this punishment....

  • @Pimpson314 Not a crime, according to the Constitution....

  • Penal code 409, remaining at a place of RIOT, and you are guilty of a misdemeanor.

  • @Pimpson314 They were unlawfully blocking traffic, jaywalking, failure to obey traffic laws/signs, etc. No one has the right to go block an intersection and the flow of traffic, or the right to disobey police commands when told to stop it. Additionally, the police gave them warning and they were told to disburse and given that chance, they refused, and so were guilty of disobeying a peace officer as well.

  • @myster1234 Legality or morality. It's your choice.

  • @GibsonElectricI A US marine was shot in the fucking face during a peaceful protest--and you have the balls to call these people fags?

Get the FUCK out of my country you worthless, spineless, sack of shit traitor.

  • @17589 amen to that

  • @17589

While Scott Olsen was, "shot in the fucking face," that does not excuse the fact that the protester did not act completely peaceful. Throwing paint, bottles, and rocks at police is not peaceful. Hell, they threw the smoke grenades and tear gas canisters back at the police. You don't do that. So, always look at the whole picture and shut the fuck up with all the hate, you're being counterproductive.

  • @chevyguy95z28 Invalid point.

When you look at who started the conflict. It was a peaceful protest until the police broke that. From then on it was a matter of defending themselves and driving back the aggressor in any way they could.

  • there are plenty more protesters in the making ... with the way things are going maybe it will not be much longer till they come out in droves

  • @GibsonElectricI ????? haha okkay...

  • @GibsonElectricI Fags? really, take your hate somewhere else.

  • pause at :26 to see why these people are absolute idiots.

  • @TheRubberHandMan flag Upside down is a universal sign of distress. Your bias has made you jump to conclusions.

  • @TheRubberHandMan The Flag hanging upside down?

  • @TheRubberHandMan

why are they idiots? flying the flag upside down is a form of protest and also used as a distress signal.

  • @TheRubberHandMan You sound like an obnoxious kid... why leaving a comment out of your ignorant ass?Upside down flag represent the extreme pain and distress of a society, kid, now i hope you learned something for today and please stay out of that basement and get some Ox.

  • See Post Below. Penal Code 409 - Remaining present at place of riot, etc. after warning to disperse. Every person remaining present at the place of any riot, rout, or unlawful assembly, after the same has been lawfully warned to disperse, except public officials and persons assisting them in attempting to disperse the same, is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Being that it was ok to demonstrate the day before, and then they tried to enact the Code violation makes the police action a criminal offense

  • @TreasureSeeker101 The difference is, the protest turned into a riot, or some other dangerous or unlawful assembly, according to the police.

Which it very clearly was not, or at least not enough of a law violation to warrant teargas and rubber bullets.

Either way, the police just strengthened people's conviction, so I'm kind of glad this happened - I know I'M way more committed to the cause now

  • Ok, Oakland occupiers, for all of you who were arrested or hurt by the police, they said you were in violation of Penal Code 409. You were not, because they by law allowed you to be there to protest. So get together to file a class action lawsuit for damages against the Police department, same to you NYC occupiers who were cut off from dispersing from the bridge. No need for anarchy, just get back at them.

  • this is why they got tear gassed. When you defy law you're not peacefully protesting, you are being un-lawful.

I can't stay in my neighbor's house after he told me to go home and say that I have a right to be there because I was peaceful in that I didn't break, steal or strike anything. nah nah nah...bullshit

  • @Alexn1067

It's the corrupt politicians and their corporate backers that control the laws now. In the last decade it's become pretty much impossible to have a meaningful protest and stay within the laws. They COULD stay in the "free speech zones" and wrap it up before dark, but who would ever listen to that.

Where would your country be if the original tea party said "oh no! dumping all this tea is against the law. Just do whatever England tells you"

  • @DrAmazing on the contrary, the tea party was a movement that really took hold and got attention nation-wide, I went to a few of their protests, it was lawful and I never saw people getting arrested or tear gassed.

but we acted within the law, and we didn't camp out on public property for days on end either.

  • @Alexn1067 He said the ORIGINAL tea party.

  • @DrAmazing and then refuse to disperse when told to

  • @Alexn1067 why should we be law abiding citizens when they just keep fucking us over?

look at the big picture, who gives a damn about camping out on public property. We are tired of the system and want it to change

  • @msgephsy so lets adopt anarchy "fuck all laws, fuck the rights of others...we're pissed" no no no, you don't get to do that,.....sorry we are a nation of laws.

  • @Alexn1067 But the laws are slavery. The laws are chaos. The laws are thievery.

  • @tomniemiller you got something thats actually intelligent to say or are you just going to pout some more?

  • @Alexn1067
