Watching this compilation of Charvel users reminds me why I bought my USA San Dimas Pro-Mod when they started making them in the USA in '08! And now, back to Japan manufacture so I'm glad I got a USA made Charvel, like the old days (kinda)!

Jake E. lee's white Charvel is actually a Fender strat, Charvel reworked it for him. Charvel cut the large CBS headstock down to a smaller headstock and then logoed it. If you look close you can see the bullet truss rod.

Jake E. Lee's guitar was actually a 70-something Fender Stratocaster with a sunburst finish. He had a friend at the Charvel paintbooth or whatever that repainted it for him and put on the Charvel logo. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I know I've read that many places.

George currently plays esp guitars but the original tiger stripe in the photo is a charvel with an esp logo , its been his favorite guitar for years so rather then not play it on stage he put the esp logo on it to make esp happy , if you have ever seen the guitar in person it has 3 logos , charvel , performance , and at the top esp . . i m friends with this tech and i ve met him a few times and talk to him , and been a foot away from that lovely axe : )
