depends what your doing like dagorhir or the alliance inside these corporations (there not really corp.s i don't know what they are) theres clans or units and yeah there maybe some you can just find online but it may be a easyer start if you go to one of this websites ^^ (there's allot more than dagorhir and the alliance)

First search the internet for groups in your neigborhood, often larpclans have homepages. When not finding anything search for a board where u can post your answer, often boards of big events offer such an area where u can post "searching-requests"

hahaah last summer with some friends we went to a camping, and to get to civilization u had to cross a forest, and we started playing dumbly with sticks and ended up waging a three on three battle with branches as swords, rocks, a bike chain, a kind of iron pole, and the biggest dude raised a thin fallen tree and used it against us, we ended up all bruised and with small cuts and some blood, but man it was fun XD

Nope. The point of not doing that is being to safely throw/jab with them. As soon as you have something rigid along the line of thrust, you get all sorts of problems, safety-wise.

You're kidding. . .we use 1/4 inch diameter fiberglass in ours (capped of course) and nothing happens. It's a little lame to have a snake of a javelin fly at you.

Sorry but after 15+ years of larping I can tell you that you'd have to be VERY unlucky to even get a scratch from a properly built spear with a rigid core.

No, the only reason anyone builds the noodle-spears is because of fear of litigation.

Thankfully, here in Canada we have no such fears.
