Beautiful, classic ABBA. I've been listening to them since I was a teen in the early 70's, just as they began their career in America, but I've never heard this particular piece. It is marvelous, and your video is artfully done. Thank you very much for your work!

Great song. It really showed that ABBA were more then just Dancing Queen. Too bad they had to break up and leave us. This song is epic and shows a different side to ABBA. Frida did an excellent job.

This piece is beautiful, and in retrospect one of course can hear the Chess sounds in these later works.. And in my opinion, Fridas voice fits in the chess style perfectly, and I wonder if it was ever discussed if she'd be a part of the Chess ensemble? Does anyone know?

I don't think Frida was asked to the best of my recolection. I think Frida's voice matured as she matured, and was well suited for much of B&B later works though. If I can find out I will let you know though. One of my ABBA friends will know for sure I am sure. Thanks for your visit and comment.

Excellent vid Dallas. You've got some really clear pics of the girls here, especially Frida who sings this song beautifully. There's a touch of church/cinema organ music about this one, which makes it quite different! They had plenty of tracks recorded towards another album after this and could easily have completed it. The group splitup was too abrupt really.

I am still touching by this album and this song like few others in its. It sounds like dusky atmosphear in this last opus. The songs are so sad, but genius...I like to hear this album in winter time :)

Thanks Kat! I am just getting started doing videos of ABBA, but been a fan of theirs for many years. It is so amazing that Bjorn & Benny felt they were sort of gassed at this time in writing pop music, when in actuality they were getting better all the time! Frida did one heck of a job in this album in her leads!

You'll get better on them, trust me! I was a puddle while doing my first one, I was all over the place. I think one of the hardest parts was filling out the info when it came time. But I always keep a notebook next to me and take a lot of notes!

Thanks Shay! I am a long ways from yours and Jim's slide shows, but I am going to work on them till I get the hang of it. I feel good I was able to do it by myself, so there is hope! It will be something for me to do next winter when I am back to retirement full time!
