LOL I agree, Mario Galaxy sucks just as bad as Sonic Unleashed. How about Super Mario 64 vs. Sonic Adventure? We all know Sonic Adventure wins that one, Sonic Adventure is just a legendary game, it's what made the Dreamcast one of the best systems to remember :)

Sonic Unleashed was better than Mario Galaxy. Sonic Adventure always topped anything Nintendo tried to fish out for Mario. They were smart to stick with Mario Party. Then, Here came Secret Rings, where they copied that of Mario Party. Great idea Sega had of stealing their idea.

Let's see... Sonic 1 vs. Mario arcade.

Sonic 1 wins.

Sonic Drift vs. Mario Kart.

Mario cart kills it.

Sonic R vs. Mario Kart.

Sonic R pwns it.

Now, Mario RPG Vs Chronicles...

hmmmm.... from what i hear Sonic Chronicles has made a bigger splash that Dragon Qeust, or even the DS Final Fantasys in both here in America and Asia. Although it has recieved mixed reviews from critics and skepticals alike, Square Enix has admitted that Sonic Chronicals is a more ambitious title than any of their own (probably because Bioware is better and has made tons more money than Square Enix)

n... not exactly. Unleashed was faster than anything Sega made in the past. The old Platformers were just... Platformers. Telling a great story as well as top of the line gameplay at the time. They're fun to play, but 3D surpasses, along with the new stuff they make.

i disagree, even tho, the reviews are mixed (seeing how some give it 6.5 to 9.7) This is an enjoyable experience & is better than any Mario RPG to date. The is because there are many things Sonic can do in this game that the side-scrolling fast Sonic games limit players on. For example, if you read the comic books, you will learn of the Axe Kick and Whirlwind or Blue Bomber moves which are availible this game in the combat. And also, the Sonic Universe is a great pallete for making an RPG plot.

Listen, man. You may have a point for yourself, but I thought this game wasn't gonna be fast. It became fast in another way. You only like Sonic in the form of classics. You're not a newer age person. So if you're gonna scream shit, then at least say ONE good freaking thing about Chronicles. Pretend that it wasn't Sonic related, And you'd have to admit it would have been a damn good game.

You may make somewhat of a point, but the gameplay is new. It's different from anything i've ever seen.

No it is Amy and Blaze probably couldn't fit in the story so I am 99.99% sure she (And Silver) are not in it. Besides, Silver confuses the Sonic series just because of one thing. In Sonic 06 didn't all the Iblis related events not happen or something so Silver's future is unknown and he cant know Sonic cause Iblis never exsisted. In the portable Sonic Rivals, I dont think his plot changed and that was boring for him to be a "Come back from the future to save it" guy.

Really right?! This is exciting. Being someone who isn't always playing RPGs all the time, I get more excited. I hope it's not way too hard though cause when I was little Final Fantasy 7 frustrated me so freakin' much.

Yes! Finally, someone uploads battle footage. This is without the doubt the most important thing to me when I think about whether or not to buy this, and it certainly looks good. Besides, it's bioware we're talking about. These guys are geniuses at rpgs. I couldn't ask for a better company to make a Sonic RPG. Say, has this already been released in North America or do we still have to wait a little longer.

Yea, that Amy and Dexter thing is true, it was depicted on one of the screenshots with Amy talking to Sonic, but whether Dexter is real, at this stage we do not know.

POW moves with multiple teammates reminds me of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, except with the block damage, as opposed to avoiding it, would be more akin to Super Mario RPG's system. Either way, it's good to see that this Sonic game uses a good portion of real-time action to keep it interesting.

Also, lolz at Rouge running into the box.

All characters have been revealed. The last character is "Shade," whoever that is. It was on Sega's FTP at one point, but looking for it now, it seems they removed it. Probably because it told who the last character was. :D

I didn't know it was a secret. It's been posted on my website since I first read it off their FTP server.

No they haven't. We're stilling missing the last character. There are supposedly 11 playable characters in the game and only 10 have been announced so far. 1)Sonic 2)Tails 3)Knuckles 4)Shadow 5)Rouge 6)Omega 7)Amy 8)Cream 9)Big 10)Shade 11)??? Shade was the most recently confirmed, but not the last.

It's basically the cast of Sonic Heroes in a nutshell, forming up all at once. The last character could either be Tikal, Silver, or Blaze. My money's on Blaze.
