  • Is that an edge bevel?

  • they sell those at a mall near me for like 70$

  • no, they don't. LOL!

  • @darkgaiasonic

No, they definitely don't, malls are the worst distributers of swords I can imagine.

Cut the shit, nobody believes you.

  • @ihaterobbie123 no, they do, but the guy only comes on holidays. i got my first shuriken there, and its cuts deeply. so dont prove me wrong

  • @darkgaiasonic

I said NOTHING about how well it cuts. "cut the shit" means stop bullshitting if you didn't pick that up.

It's useless trying to argue you can get swords cheaper in a mall than from reputable distributers so just stop lying.

PS. Don't respond with "what have I got to gain by lying" because I have no clue. It's not uncommon for people to claim they get better deals on goods locally when they don't...strange trend.

  • i cant believe u would argue with me about something as stupid as this, really dude? really?

  • @darkgaiasonic

If you lived in the uk you'd understand. Anything sold outside the US is more expensive than in the US. A practical plus for $70 (40 UK pounds)? I'm only willing to believe so much. I doubt if you bought from Hanwei forge directly they would be $70.

  • i got mine for $200

  • @darkgaiasonic chances are theyre junk copies....... the paul chen katanas go for way more.... either the people at your mall are unaware, or they're forgeries...

  • @krazy4knives I think that he clearly thinks that every katana is Paul Chen. You probably know that you can buy shit swords for nothing, this guy just doesn't realize that Hanwei is better quality. Don't waste your time on this guy.

  • @darkgaiasonic no they dont rofl

  • no listings no shit

  • read the responce below

  • The eBay link in the 'more info' area at the top right of the page says the eBay store no longer exists when clicked on. Please update the link.

  • my brother isnt in business at the moment because of the changed in the law in britain

  • I love Mine. Great cutter.Well balanced for me.

  • Are you serious. $200.0 for a Katina. A true Katina forged in japan the traditional way will cost you starting at $6,000.00, for one made by a non known sword smith. One created by a master sword smith who's work is known will cost in the area of $50,000-$85,000.00. these prices are for swords that are Farly new with in the last 5 years. sword smiths are only allowed to produce only 3-5 swords per years by the laws of japan.

  • A master don`t sell his katana to anybody.

  • A master who is smart runs a business where he can sell easily mass produced katanas to the public while keeping the true nihonto blades that are his inspiration for himself.

  • hit the nail on the head, the guy above is ignorant

  • @blackjack427r u know nothing at all do u? u'll rarely see a katana over 2,500,000 yen. $50,000, $85,000? wow $85,000. U can buy a fucking muramasa or a tsrumasa for that price. u should do more training of the mind cuz u sound like a retard or (type/say). lol

  • @unHolySamuraiXevil o.O i can get a muramasa for 85k?

  • @sinkaitong ...

  • check at the 1 minute mark and past that, they are fairly clear.

  • is this sword forged in the traditional way

  • Had one.$200..it was ok, no complaints

  • yokote is hard to see......i'd rather get a ryumon dragon. Fits my style of koshirae and sharpness.

  • I'd get the Ryumon Double Edge; leather ito, plus it's a double edged katana without that annoying spear point you see on the Cold Steel model, but the PPK series is just as good, really. Especially if you're a collector like me.

  • I don't get why you are so concerned with a bohi

  • I myself rather have a bohi on mine. It weight is lower, and it gives you the characteristic sound of the blade slashing trought the air. Also im a iaidoka so the bohi is very important.

  • Understandable, but dont forget if you ever do decide to try tameshigiri the bohi reduces the structural integrity of the blade.

  • yeah the HRC is lowered to keep its durability at the same as a non bohi version. 56 hrc with bohi and 60 hrc without.

  • eh no bo hi but nice saya and great cutter
