@MacGrurry Dude, everyone dies at some point in their lives. Some died before Jack and some died after. Think of the flash sideways as a flash forward forward. They didn't die in the plane crash. Everything they experienced was real to begin with. Walt appears in the epilogue. Personally, I loved the ending and the show as a whole. It's fine if you have your opinions and think it was buffalo anus but that's just me.

I really admire those people who loved the ending, they get that soap opera ending which could be the ending of any sitcom, a perfect way for the writters to not explain anything, to manipulate people with that sedative smiles. And they buy it!!!! The emperor wore no clothes folks! Hehe, I like how prestigious tv critics are just dissecting it and bashing it. I didn't need the answers, only a well written ending and they failed, Lost ending is the same as Six Feet Under but lame!

@cnsmooth : No you still don't get it. It didn't suck. You have no clue what was happening in the "flashsideways" and you had no clue until the end. That alone makes a great ending. You just feel it sucked because you need everything to be spoon fed to you...i.e the "rules". If you want to understand the rules rewatch it and don't be a moron like the guy in the video. The ending as an ending was the best one I've seen in a series...but as a Lost ending it was probably the worst out of the 6.

I hated the ended and understood it completely, the sideways was only introduced at the start of this season, if you think that is and awesome ending to something that had five other season then good for you, personally i dont see why the introduced it in the first place.
