  • Meiner Meinung nach sieht das einstudiert aus, wie der Reiter sich gleich festhält als ob er weiss was kommt...

  • @MeliMaus1993 NO not rehearsed but instead a great rider who knows ahead what horse is about to do...google his name Jean Luc Cornille.

  • first couple times i watched this, i thought he was doing this on cue. but then i read the description... that horse must have some massive hindquarters for being able to keep himself steady! also, incredible props to the rider! i guess at that point, there's not much you can do but grab mane and wait for it to be over!

  • @juliecoolyful You are absolutely right...can you believe there are people saying should bend his neck while in air! Chazot no longer rears...took time and patience...he has wonderful mind.

  • dang O.O you are lucky he didn't go back wards x.x nice hugging move it saved you big time

  • That is absolutely perfect form for rearing. Kudos to that great rider.

  • Oh my god :O

  • I'll bet this was terrifying! I thought in the first rear he was going to flip over on you. The only reason he didn't was because of some great riding!! Some of the people on here just yank on their horse's mouth, then wonder why they get crushed.

  • He did exactly was he was suppose to do.... I was just explaining to my son different rearing senerios and watching some of these very inexperienced riders yank on their already rearing horses mouth?! Only to get the obvious answer... a 1200 pnd animal on top of you! ugh...I see now he was not cued to rear he kinda half sucks up first, excellent riding English tack none the less :)

  • Woowww.!!!

  • Looks to me like the only reason the horse didn't go over backwards was because of some pretty excellent riding instincts. Good job. And not a moment of anger when he comes down. This all happened in a matter of seconds--the rider did just what needed to happen. Nicely done.

  • CRAP!

  • brilliant riding! :)

  • wow im surprised he didnt fall on his back

  • Great staying on...but how did your horse not flip lol! I thought he was going to fall, but so glad he didnt. You are a great rider

  • what a pro the way he stayed on, i now know what to do when my horse rears

  • AMAZING RIDER!

  • Wow. o__O

  • Great arm hook and riding - But I would have bailed - Rears are the one thing that seriously scare the ever living heck out of me! - Glad he is doing better!

  • Hey, Do you mind if I use this in a blooper video? I'll give you full credit, I understand if you dont want me too though! Hope you were both okay!:) xxx

  • the rider looks like hes hugging him

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! I'm glad the horse didn't lose his balance by his first rear o.o That was a really big rear, that's a good rider for staying on that well .w.

I've read that the horse has been under treatment, I hope the abces(ses) are gone by now o_o

  • Absolutely incredible rider. I would have died from fear, if not pulling the horse over backwards on top of myself! It is also very nice that you recognized that the horse was not being "bad" or nasty. When a well-trained horse does something unexpected like this, they have a reason.

  • The rider looks like Keith Lemon. :')

  • @ASimpleSomething No Keith Lemon looks like the rider..:)

  • GREAT JOB!!!

  • Wow, what an excellent rider! He knew just how to react.

  • Nearly crapped myself on that first rear, jesus christ!

  • wow, amazing riding to sit a rear like that!! very balanced andd gorgeous horse also.

  • omg, it's amazing that she did'nt made a backflip in the first rear. Beautiful and powerful horse

  • That is an amazing rider!! I hope Chazot is okaii now!!

  • @niamhbell10 thank you Jean Luc Cornille he is amazing rider and trainer..Chazot is doing wonderful! No rears great work ethics...true nature VERY sweet and kind...

  • WOW, now thats a rider !!! Good recovery man! ! !

  • extremely well ridden! He reared so high it was almost beyond the vertical, \I thought he was going over, well done! Poor thing though, thank goodness you found the problem, imagine if you hadn't!!

  • This would be beautiful...If there wasn't a rider of course!!! :)

  • ohmygod emergency dismount!! that guy knew just what to do though.

  • The rearing is just horrifying...my stomach turned over watching it the first time. I have to admit, I sold a horse (to a professional) after he reared on me. After I watched it a few time, I am just in complete awe of the instant balance changes by Mr. Cornille to prevent a disasterous result. And I am guessing the absess was in his right front foot, I can see he is favoring it.

  • @LKnepley Yes right front abscess. Over a period of about 3 mths we had an abscess in three hooves one after another....the right front one was the worse.

  • omg i just though "don't fall backwards, don't fall backwards" It is amazing how the horse is in control of it, but poor horse :( noone should have pain, especially the ones that can't tell where it is :(

  • Oh My God!

  • one amazing rider! awesome horse for not falling backwards also!

  • 0:22 - shit my pants

  • i love the ears forward the whole time. He's just like "eh, let's stretch a bit..."

  • Woah! Like GoGadgetHookerClean said, he is an amazing athlete! And good job staying on! Woah, really looks crazy :D!

  • please can i use this? i will give credit.

  • @elliemortonxxx Yes with credit..thank you

  • very good rider and very crazy horse

  • wow. once again the pure atheletism of a horse is shown best at the rear. He is so aware of his hind quarters and center of gravity its mind blowing...

  • @GoGadgetHookerClean Chazot is incredible athlete ...he has never in the many rears been off balance...he no longer rears...and is athleticism is shinning through,...he has opinions strong ones which we like..:) thank you for comment you are right on..:)

  • @hypasha No problem. I call it as I see it. He is beautiful too

  • Wow, I'm going to remember that. Next time a horse rears with me, wrap your arms around the neck! xD

Just, what if it decides to buck after that? o:

  • @TearMeDownTonite LOL Keep holding on to the neck and you'll land safely on your feet first. :D

  • wow! he is a really good rider!

  • wooooooooow

  • Thats smart grab the neck. 1 rear ithought the horse was gonna fall backwards

  • hoooooooooooooo my god!!!i was so affraid...i had an accident like this...1 month hospital!

  • Okay your horse is amazing his large slopped shoulders and lean neck wow! I really think that al he needs is time be as pationt as you can and show him care and make sure you shoe him that you love him. Good luck:D

  • Holy cow! He's just clinging on perfectly still!

  • OMG!!!!!!!!

  • Why didn't you do an emergency dismount!? I was afraid that the horse was going to fall over backwards on you.

  • @halfgoodhalfevil Jean Luc would of done that if needed..but this man is one of the best riders in the world and can feel what is going on with Chazot. Chazot was in complete balance along with Jean Luc .If Jean Luc would of shifted any weight they would of gone over. Read about Jean Luc and Chazot at scienceofmotion com

  • @halfgoodhalfevil if he did an emergency dismount your just giving into the horse and letting them win, by staying on it knows that your not having any of it and will eventually learn.

  • Fantastic!

  • wowww now thats a rearing !!! just two words need to be said .. excellent rider !!!

  • Now THAT'S a rear! How can you stop him?

  • @ThatIsSomePig you couldn't he was in pain if you read the description, they didn't realise he had an abscess. They stopped by stopping riding him once the abscess was found I would expect.

  • DAMN way 2 hold on!

  • VERY WELL SAT!!!

  • wow that was huge! it was like flipping trigger

  • respekt an den reiter, michräts wahrscheinlich runter... aberganz ehrlich ohne die kack slowmo wärs um einiges besser... oder vlt erst normal dann noch slomo oder was weis ich aber net nur...

  • Thank you. It was bloody hell of a rearing. You could not imagine the comments we received from this picture. An Australian cowboy commented “You pull.” Another good one was, “you must never grab the neck”. In the same style was, “you seat too heavy”. One advised to use a two by four. At the least, one from France was funny, “I was on the understanding that at Saumur the rider’s upper body remains perpendicular to the horse during the Courbette.”

  • bloody hell! well ridden.

  • Wow, that's scary.

  • Wow! well sat!!

  • urm...thats fake...

  • @Emiliebracken lol fake? nope is for real...check out the rest of Chazot videos..

  • wow scary and i have been reared but that is jus WOW

  • wow

  • wow

  • Oh man what an amazing reaction! Lots of people pull and jerk the reins when their horse rears, causing bad accidents. I'm so glad you were able to find the absess. What a beautiful boy!

  • is dat a man or woman lol

  • @WelshCobLover it is a man...Jean Luc (pronounced Jon) is from France...

  • @hypasha Urgh don't listen to anyone stupidly saying stupid things about your horse. I (and most other people) think he's gorgeous, you've trained him great and that was extremely well sat.

    Well done sir :)

  • @99FeeBee99 Thank you...we are very proud of Chazot and Jean Luc is a great trainer and clinician.

  • @hypasha I can see that :) Are you doing any shows with him?

  • @99FeeBee99 No we will not show him but he is used in demonstrations at our clinics as well as training videos.

  • @hypasha That's beautiful :) Good luck! :)

  • Shiiiiiiiiiit.

Well done girl! Looks like your holding on for dear life haha.

Your a good confident rider, well done. x

  • @OhDearyMyPants Its a man:L -_- ahaa x

  • omg ! its looked like he was going to go over backwards on the first rear, that horse has definatly got some balance !!!

  • @MelodyiLove1000 Yes he does have great balance..he is now learning to jump shall use that balance and force in another way..video is up of Chazot first lesson in jumping

  • I thought on da first he was gonna fall off

  • stayed on :O

  • Thats my jumping position that is! lol

  • Wow thats a high rear!!

  • I thought she was going to fall off because of the really high rear!

  • what made him/her rear?

  • your reins where far too loose and WOWOWOWOWOW that is the biggest rear in histroy omg u stayed on wow

  • :21 holly god how did she stay on!!!!!!!!!! good job!

  • @pontooflover Jean Luc Cornille (is a man, French) is a Great rider and trainer...he has trained thousands of horses and knows what he is doing..he is a Pro.

  • @hypasha oo that explains it lol

  • you stayed on good!

  • you stayed on good! i would do the same grab the horses neck!! nice!

  • Almost looked like he was gonna go over the first time. Glad their was a legitimate reason for the rear and not just a behavior. :) Hope he's doin better!!

  • @NaturalJumper1032 he is doing wonderful...no rears at all now...check out his latest video on our channel

  • you're a great rider - I've never seen a horse rear like that! and twice in a row - fantastic job :) and beautiful horse, by the way

  • #1 your reins were WAY to lose #2 wen they rear u NEVER hold on to the neck because thats what let him go as high as he did #3 where is your helmet if he would have flipped over on you .it would probly would have put you in the hospital.......He is an OTTB they`re all a little nutty at first........i`v worked with a lot of them!!!!!

  • @3dayeventer101 Well my dear if he would of followed your advice helmet or no helmet he would be dead. If you do not become a little bit smarter that will happen to you such is your future.

  • @3dayeventer101 A lot of dressage people don't wear helmets. My trainer doesn't wear a helmet all the time. Plus when you show (if you're a high enough level) you don't wear a helmet you wear a top hat which has no protection at all.

  • @3dayeventer101 If you don't hold onto their neck, you're leaning you weight back, which means the horse has a higher chance of falling on you.

  • @3dayeventer101 #1 Not your horse #2 you cant control hot high a horse rears by hanging onto their reins. #3 NOT EVERYONE WEARS HELMTS! Its a personal choice and some people chose to NOT wear helmets, believe it or not. Just because you've worked with alot of OTTB horses doesnt make you an expert over every horse and quit harrassing people on youtube over a 1:02 video

  • And that folks is how to sit a rear!

I hope you were able to ease his pain though, he's a stunning looking ottb!

  • helmet? but other than that, GREAT riding!! :D

  • WOW!!!! THAT WAS HUGE!!!!!!

  • just want to say thank you for sharing this great story!!! I`ve had my troubles with my former racing horse.... This is a great inspiration and let`s me now that i am on the right path... Thanks again!!!

  • @lektana Your welcome,,thank you...and good luck with yours! They are intelligent sensitive breeds...and come with memories.

  • Awesome riding for such a huge rear. The whole time I was saying "please don't flip." WOW

  • 0:21 = major hug ;)

  • well done for staying on :)

  • Well done x :) Talented horse rearing that high with his tack on and talented rider for staying on my horse would have made sure he did it like that if he was gonna rear that hight lol x Well done !!! :) xxx ...

  • WOOOW O.o

  • Wow, well done for sticking!! You Probs heard this before, but maybe you should wear a hat. would have protected you better if you had fallen off or something. but its upto you. not being negative at all, just dont want you get hurt unnecessary. but well done x

  • Good job staying on :D did the right thing! screw the ppl that say hit the horse on the head...I mean really ppl..

  • wow a two x four between the ears one time or a new trainer for that spoiled horse might be safer!

  • @hyperfocus2011 try a 2 x 4 between yours you may become smarter....

  • @hyperfocus2011 It was rearing because it was in pain, not cuz its spoiled, and I think the trainer did a pretty good job of staying on and sending him forward. Maybe you got hit between the ears with a 2 x 4 you'd learn how to read!!!

  • @hyperfocus2011 It was rearing because it was in pain, not cuz its spoiled, and I think the trainer did a pretty good job of staying on and sending him forward. Maybe you got hit between the ears with a 2 x 4 you'd learn how to read!!!

  • lol in slow motion its like the man's hugging the horse! xD!!

  • @gurkinz

    its a women :L

  • @surujdeo99 no is a man..:) Jean Luc Cornille of Science Of Motion

  • Wow! Ur horse is stunning!! Poor boy to have an abbess but is he better now? Eat an amazing rider to be able to ride him so well (: xc

  • @AdorkableLex Sorry that is not acceptable and your way of training is not acceptable..take this horse CHazot in the hand of someone like you, or Parilli, or Roberts he would of been a killer...now working Dressage..working together..takes patience and wisdom which Jean Luc Cornille has. Natural horsemanship is not natural you are dominating, submitting and controlling...we never fight with them we invite them on a intelligent journey...is a world natural horseman do not know or understand.

  • @AdorkableLex it is cruel and there are better ways to work with this intelligent sensitive creatures...that is just plain ole cowboy dark ages stuff...there are reasons a horse does things people that cry behavior problems need to realize there is much more to the story....we have come a long way learning about animals and working with them as equal partners..I hope you will.

  • That happened to me about three weeks ago. I have looked for problems in her back but the only problem I can find is in her left rear hoof that she favors. It's very unlike her but I can't understand her rearing with a bad rear hoof. I am going to have a chiropracter check her and of course address the rear hoof, before I get back on her.

  • wow some serious rearing but the lady did a great job of staying on him

  • @dancingshilow Thank you..and is a man Jean Luc Cornille..:) of Science Of Motion

  • fucking hell.

  • HOLY COW. My horse reared almost that high once with me on him but I slid off because I didnt want to get squished if he flipped. :O

  • My hat to the rider!!

  • good rider !

  • INCROYABLE *_*

  • carry a 2x4 next time

  • @kurtleimkuehler cowboy eh? ride brain dead horses right...into dominating control....bet you are into rodeos...and enjoy seeing animals suffer for your enjoyment..

  • poor little guy with his hoof....

  • the rider done really well to stay on

  • i'm never going to be able to do something like that.

  • You can see him wary of putting his right fore on the ground when landing it, i'm guessing that was the abscessed hoof? Amazingly well sat, well done! I would've been terrified if that happened when i wasn't wearing a helmet!

  • @LilSmufie yes right hoof.

  • WOW, now that is a rear

  • that would be scary...it looks like the horse is about to fallover

  • I cannot believe that the horse did not fall over, especially at 0:21!!

  • Jean you are amazing XXXX

  • pause at 21 seconds 0.o

  • that is a big rearr..im must say very very well sat :D i think i would of just fell off :L

  • My goodness... you really don't see riders like this very often.... could not possible fault how he handled the horse, it is scary to think what could have happened if someone else was riding... not many people would keep a horse so balanced... just perfect... incredible!

  • bloody well sat or hugged on n glad abscess was problem and was sorted

  • That was some pretty strong rearing, i was afraid the horse was going to throw its self backwards on the first one. Good riding to hang on that well with a straight up rear. :)

  • wow she is lucky he didnt flip back onto her i had my horse flip back yesterday and barely missed me was also very lucky she did the right thing leaning all her weigt on the neck hope the horse is ok

  • you sure can tell a good rider from a bad one. When a horse rears a good rider knows to hug the neck and become part of the horse versus pulling more on the rein. Great job staying on those rears.

  • pause at 0:21

  • O.M.G I Thought the horse was going to go over backwards! one lucky rider!

  • oh my god ^^

  • I sat there, gaping, repeatedly saying "OH MY GOD...OH MY GOD..." That poor, poor woman- I hope the horse is alright as well.

  • @summerrushband it is a man Jean Luc Cornille both horse and rider fine both very balanced..:) Chazot no longers rears...

  • @hypasha what was the pain Chazot had?

  • @vdenise abscess in hoof, next day dead lame. We went thru 3 hoofs with abscess. one after another

  • @hypasha thanks, good think you found this

  • @vdenise I own him Horse and married to rider Jean Luc (first name is pronounced John)

  • omg i cant believe he didnt go over :L well satt

  • omg thats sick ö my pony has reared once, and it was also caused by pain ..
