Hi Freddy, just found your video of All of Me and can I just say you are doing a grand job. I am learning this with my teacher and finding how to improvise very difficult. He tells me to practice and memorise arpeggios to work round whilst I am playing but time is running out, I am in my sixties and haven't played guitar in over 50 years. Your method seems so much more sensible, more enjoyable and I can make progress. Thanks again and please keep posting. Cheers
Freddy, are you thinking chord arpeggios when you solo? Do you have any secrets for including chromatics and other scale tones for each of the chords you solo over? I am trying to learn improvisation (trombone) and would enjoy hearing your approach.
Thanks for taking time out to tab it Freddy I know this represents a lot of work for you. If I can get just one tiny phrase of this great piece of Freddy magic right my wife will love it!
Good work Fred, you're putting in a lot of work helping to promote the Jazz and helping many players interested in this magnificent style, thanks for your very kind comment on my " It could happen to you" much appreciated,Jazz greetings Vic.
