first of all, of course rick and jim are biased, they do work for the sabres afterall. second, what neil did in both games was b.s. yeah drury was vunerable but theres no reason to hit him hard enough for his helmet to come off and need 30 stitches and get a concussion. that was a dirty hit. theres nothing manly about going after the smallest guys on the ice. go sabres!

Heatley is no murderer. It was an accident, and a tragic one. Mair taking a potshot at him for that is just sickening. It doesn't matter if its in the heat of the moment or not, it steps way over whatever code it is enforcers, and every other hockey player for that matter, follows. Mair had every single one of those punches coming, and as a Buffalo/Flames fan, I have to say he's an embarassment to the Sabres even though he did have the guts to face off with Neil.

Neil is the best fighter on that team (wins quite a few), and in my case the toughest player on the sens team. The hit to Drury was not cheap; it's hockey, and if you're not gonna be looking for people trying to hit you, hell i guess you could take up badminton or tennis as a sport. Saying that Neil gets away with murder (commentators) is bullshit.

If the player is bent over, or has lowered his head, too bad, like Jason Williams getting leveled by Torres, but Drury was standing straigh up and the puck was a away.
