@Jordan31fan The same thing happened in this years 150's. Dale Jr. and Kasey Kahne both got away with it yet they penalized David Ragan for the same thing three days later in the 500. Just an example of Nascar's inconsistency. Hell, Austin Dillion shouldn't have even been the Truck champion this year because he passed below the line twice at the end of the Talladega race and never got a penalty yet they took away Regan Smith and Denny Hamlin's wins for passing below the line. End of rant.
@DrAkuIa1 they freakin never want to GET the call right...they just call something thats there or not there. Thats where the inconsistency comes from and baseball is the same way, they just call something and never try to get the call correct.
@Jordan31fan It was not a rule in 2003. The only rule was you can not pass to the left before the line and you can't beat the leader to the start finish line. They only ran lap cars to the inside anyways.
Lay it on 'em Casanova style...

Robby Gordon changed lanes before the start finish line! Was that not illegal back then?

@Jordan31fan it wasnt a big deal back then because they only started double file once in each race (other than lap cares)
