hi guys, I have made one of these in the last couple of days, the key to not rolling half as much is making sure you have some weight e.g. battery on the front. With no weight when you turn, the boat will just want to lift the back and front up, with weight on the front it will have more of a pivoting effect.
Unfortunately EDF will not work as they are only really efficient when the get up to decent rpm, would be really really easy if they did though!

im building my first boat right now and usind a 31 cc weed eater motor and i found just simple useing a BIG boogey or body board as the boat and using a kit you can buy off the internet called vex robotics.

thats a nice design, i like it alot!!! i do electrics out of blucore and other foams and scrap materials. love climbing over those little hills!!! working on a four point eps "hydro". Looks like a mrs. budweiser boat with a fan on top... lol. Also has four skids as opposed to a flat bottom...

This snow was crusty ( iced over ) and couldn't open the throttle very much due to the chances of it flipping . Hopefully , with the new vids , I will get some soft powder snow to run on .
Pending on the snow , if its hard , crusted snow , its like ice ... hardly any control ( which is how that snow is in the vid ) , but , if its on soft wet snow , its very controllable and a BLAST to fun .
