everything about 2k9 is better than live. they look way more realistic and they have different body types and shapes. in live they all look like stick figures. live is fucking trash cmpared to 2k9. graphics, gameplay, dunks, layups, HD is way better in 2k9

I playd 2K9 at my friends house and I own Live 09 and I would have to say Live 09 is better hands down. It feels smoother and more realistic, the controls are good, the game types are better and now with the Dynamic DNA updates it makes each player feel individual.

live is not better 2k9 has better controls it is more realistic and the players move smooth like in real life 2k9 has the better version of dynamic dna called living roster it updates faster also it adds extra such as changing player ratings and giving them extra moves when their on a hot streak in real life NBA 2K9 all the way.

I played 2k since it first came out on dreamcast. I bought 2k9, played it for 1 week and switched over to Live. 2k really dissappointed me this year. Live gameplay is better this year.

i;ve been playing nba live since 98 and i tried 2k5 and 2k7 but i still got stuck playing nba live. i bought ps3 because of nba live and i expected a lot for the improvement of the game but im kinda dissapointed because the game is so easy especially stealing and driving inside the basket. So waht i did was,i bought 2k8 and kaboom, im addicted to it.

From 2000-2009 I think Live has only been better for two years. Live 2004 and 2005 were better than 2k4 and 2k5. Other than that its been all 2k.
