  • long long time ago I heard this song and I really felt like dying at that moment...

DT and DIJ together was the most wonderful convination .......my 2 fav bands playing together... I wish I had had the chance to see them

  • @AntiMusick

For many years I heard Death in june and Current 93, the golden years it was the end of the 80 and the begining 90 for all of them.they gave each other the best young years of creativity.and still it was on the 'air" the london experimental feelings from the beginning of the 80's.after David's tibet collaboration with death injune. Douglas made very good things too, example Scorpion wind,Strenght through joy was perfect,or a great forgotten album Operation Hummingbird.

  • I heard something about an interview with Tibet in which he dismissed his association with DI6 as "unpleasant bullshit". I'm probably misquoting. Does anyone know about it? peace

  • @steinber

There's a fair amount of bad blood between the two because of bad business (which culminated in the World Serpent meltdown/fiasco), changing ideals, etc. It's hard to summarize succinctly, but there's A LOT written about it (from both sides perspective) on the Internet.

  • DIJ best music was when David still worked with Doug.

  • @AntiMusick

and the best David tibet music it was when Douglas P and Tony wakeford were workning with David Tibet.

  • @sveikasveta one of the best Current 93 line up has to be this David Michael Tibet, Steven Stapleton, James Mannox, Douglas P., Joolie Wood, Michael Cashmore, John Balance, Rose McDowall, James Malindayne-Lafayette, Nick Saloman, Sarah Bradshaw, Karl Blake, Renate Birulf, David Kenny, Edward Ka-Spel, Shirley Collins.

  • @AntiMusick

and Current 93 best music it was when Douglas and Tony Wakefeord were playing with him.

  • i never knew the name of this song.but luckily someone posted it !and thanx . what cd is this from? i kinda went bankrupt collecting current 93/death in june/ but it is werth every hard earned penny! my fav lines from one of tibets songs is "anyway, people die" /island hoh

  • It's on "but what ends when the symbols shatter" Death in June

  • @chaim00076

I don't know bout the "bwewsts" album, but a really great version of this tune is on "Free Tibet" that was free to download at the official DIJ homepage!

    I really onjoy this album!

  • Tibet jumped on the jesus train. And kind of lost his mind.

Over the years, he kind of annoys me. I prefer douglas singing.

  • It's not the ordinary Jesus train though, which still makes him interesting.

  • It's also nice that YOU approve.

i often wonder about the "human condition." Luckily internet-forums provide a very one-sided sampling of it.

    Carry on.

  • People like you kind of annoy me. A fact.

It's nice of you to tell everyone of your enlightened opinion of whose singing you prefer, though.

  • I guess that's right. Tibet wants to be an indie rock star.

  • But did you know that Sasha Grey is a (probably honorary) member of Current 93 now? You should approach her. Maybe she'll participate in VAC.

  • @hexfix93 w3rd

  • Tibet is so fucking sexy

  • the best collaboration of Death In June was David Tibet's lyrics with Douglas P. voice singing. And before David Tibet it was about Tony Wakeford's lyrics and Douglas's singing.

In other word DIJ was best when Douglas works with better musical artists, who make great music and have good lyrics, but a bad singing voice, so they need Douglas to sing.

  • You want metal vocals to this music?

  • You complained about no power in the voice, and i mean that that is nothing that this genre calls for.

  • That's a straw dog argument. He never said anything about metal vocals.

  • No shit.

  • There's nothing wrong with preferring powerful singers.

    Powerful doesn't necessarily mean metal.

  • it's really such a pity that they're not playing together anymore

  • Great.

Anok Pe David Tibet is a real Art Performer!

Good old times.... sad, that Douglas P. mutated to such a saddo.

Hope to see you soon on stage again Mr. Tibet!

  • And what has Tibet mutated into? A self-righteous singer-songwriter?

  • current 93 & death in june...que grande que son por la mierda!!!

    gracias por el video.

  • One of the best DiJ songs

  • Fabulous song

  • Great voice!

  • Good to see an old friend doing his thang.

  • There's another great vid out there in which crazy uncle Boyd ambles onstage at a DiJ concert to bark out the lyrics to Total War. It's pretty entertaining.

  • boyd is tool

  • You have the grammatical skills of a dyslexic 5-year-old. Your argument is invalid.

    You tool :)
