@spearedge9000 The Fanatec 911 Turbo S is the only wheel that has force feedback on both the PC and 360. I would get a Gamepod over the Vision Racer or the Gameracer.. Both are good rigs, the Gamepod is better.

@spearedge9000 PC is best as it allows modding and dedicated servers.. Also the best physics are on the PC.

GT2 is the one. They are about to offer the "Evolution" which is the one you can see on our most recent shows.

The only problem w/race rigs like this is...they don't allow for serious sim racers to mount their pedals upside down...nor do they allow room for 3rd party pedals...at least not the MAJORITY of race rigs out there, such as BRD, GamePOD, GamersCockpit, virutalroader, etc., etc,. etc.,

I have to ask about your guys two foot driving in some shots I see. A lot of left foot braking and tapping. I've watched a lot of pro drivers foot cams and it doesn't seem like they left foot brake that much. I guess it depends if your driving where you don't have to clutch but it seemed a little weird.  Whadya think? Do you drive real cars like this?

Are we driving a real car or a sim car ? The sims don't require us to use it.

Do I have paddle shifters in my real car or buttons on the wheel that bring up HUD's with data ?

I personally am faster left foot braking. Should I right foot brake so that it's more real ?

Also my street car, which is a 6 speed manual does not allow shifting without the clutch.

Well first thing you have to consider is momentum in racing, where you look at oval racing, its easier to keep up momentum left foot braking because it allows you to keep rpm's up. That is 1 style, most road racers will heal toe to keep rpm's up and match shifts. It depends on the track and your driving style.

Most legitimate sims that replicate clutch based race cars allow for the clutch pedal to be used, at which point it is the driver who must choose how realistic he wants his experience to be. Some games (TDI in iRacing, various formula cars) are shifted with pedals on the wheel and do not use a clutch (except perhaps for a standing start) so left food braking is required. I should think regardless of what options are available one would choose the most realistic, immersive option.

Just got back from the Monterrey historic and i got to try the cxc simulations 48,000$ motion rig it feels very real and the 15k blue tiger motion sim which was amazing in that price range.

It doesn't take much brain power to figure out that the mistery is the G27.

This is a small niche market, and aside the most echletic equipment (eg. Frex and a few others), we are pretty much well aware of what's going on in the scene.

I'm curious to see how it performs tough.

Sure hope its a firm step above the G25, wich i wans't all that impressed with.

Are you boys going to review the Rino Seat? I've had mine for over a year and at less that 200 euro it's pretty good for the sim driver on a budget.
