If i won the lottery i would try and arrange a concert with PF and MK. Mark wrote that amazing track "on every street" but it cant be done without PF on steel - i have never even heard of another steel player even attempting it let alone doing it on stage

Pensa guitars, made in A music store in NY, close to Time Square. I've been there, I asked the boss if i could find pensa guitars in france, and he told me " I'm Rudy Pensa, friend of M.Knopfler, I design his guitars..." and then i knew...

Wow! One of my earliest guitar heroes and so much better than the SNL version I have from years ago. What a shame that it was never officially released on a Dire Straits/Notting Hillbillies/MK solo album, but thank God for YouTube and Mark Knoplfer's guitar tone!!!!! I love Clapton, but Knopfler plays rings around Eric these days. Anyone know if there's a full video of Mark giving Richard Thompson the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards?
