The Elm Chanted Forest is pretty outstanding art of the 80's and those producers from a different country done a great job. The Catius King is a awesome villain and he made a great line, "do you say...do you say...DO YOU SAY BEAVER!?!" I WANT THAT MOVIE ON DVD SOON, MAN! GREAT UPLOAD!

I remember this movie from my childhood. The english version of the movie is called "The Elm Chanted Forest" but I've seen it in original as "Cudesna Suma". The movie originates from Former Republic of Yugoslavia.

Another one who grew up in teh 80's/early 90's like me, did you rented this on video back in december 88? i did when i was 7 years old and loved it, i even had a crush on Fifi, she's quite cute for a vixen don't you think? Does this movie remind you of Ferngully, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (aka Warriors of the Wind) and even Avatar at times? same animated movies with the same message

@Johnlindsey289 Actually, I watched it when I was seven when it was broadcast on the Disney Channel. Now that was back in the day. As for it being similar to Ferngully, Nausicaa, or Avatar? It really didn't really strike me as having a similar plot as those films. But, they're all good films! What can I say, Fifi is foxy! I highly reconmend Minerva the mink from Animanicas.

Oh yes i was into Minnie when i was 12 about 18 years ago with Nurse, 93 was a great year for animated crushes for me such as Taarna from heavy Metal, Doris from Vampire Hunter D, Miranda from Bonkers, Minnie and Nurse on Animaniacs, Callie from Swat Kats, A-Ko from Project A-Ko and more. Do you remember Warriors of the Wind? the 1985 New World Pictures butchery of Nausicaa. That was my childhood favorite movie and had 3 copies of them when i was a kid and watched it on HBO
